A Leaked Honkai: Star Rail Feature Might Signal a Big Change For the Astral Express
According to arecent leak from HomDGCat,Honkai: Star Railwill reportedlyadd a bathtub feature to the Astral Expressin Version 2.7. It’s said to have different bath options and lotions that the Trailblazer and possibly other characters could use to buff up their stats, like increased ATK DMG and Ultimate DMG. Some fans also likened it toZenless Zone Zero’s ramen shop, where Agents could get one temporary buff per day.
Rumored Bathtub Buffs
The rumored feature would be a really easy way to raise characters' stats in one go beyond crafting consumables. It’s also great for players running specific team compositions that rely on specific abilities and attributes. For example, with the release of Feixiao in Version 2.5, players started building aFollow-Up ATK team with the Arbiter-General as the main DPSand The Hunt March 7th as the sub-DPS. If players get a Mysterious Massage in the bathtub, it would help Feixiao and March 7th deal more damage to enemies. Overall, this would be very useful for tough battles, like Forgotten Hall’s Memory of Chaos.
It’s still unknown where the bathtub will be placed on the Astral Express. Currently, there’s one locked room in the cabin area, which is believed to be the Trailblazer’s future bedroom that fans hope to customize. With this new leak, it’s possible that the room might turn into the rumored bath area. Unless, of course,Honkai: Star Railopens up a brand-new area and expands the Astral Express to accommodate the bathtub feature.

Assuming that the locked room on the Astral Express would be Trailblazer’s bedroom,Honkai: Star Railcould still add some customization, even if it’s minimal. It doesn’t have to be as elaborate asGenshin Impact’s Serenitea Pot, nor feel like aSimsgame with furniture arrangements. It could followZenless Zone Zero’s bedroom design, which is fully furnished and has a corkboard that can be customized with photos the Proxy took with Agents. This could be the ideal course to take to ensure thatHonkai: Star Railstill runs smoothly on mobile, while still giving players a spot that they could personalize in some way, especially if the game is really looking to expand the Astral Express.
