Let It Slide is the second of five DLC stages forAstro Bot. Like all of the game’s other post-launch content to date, players can find Let It Slide in the Stellar Speedway galaxy and will need to race to the end of the stage as quickly as possible in order to get their hands ontwo new VIP Bots.
To be more precise,Astro Botplayers will need to finish Let It Slide with a time of 50 seconds or better to unlock both Cameo Bots, which can be a lot easier said than done. The following Let It Slide walkthrough and the video above should help a lot in that regard, particularly for those who aren’t used to speedrunning stages.
How to Complete Let It Slide
The key to beating Let It Slide quickly is tocut every corner possibleby making use of the ice ramps created bythe elephant power-up. Players should fill up the elephant using the first ice pool they come to and then immediately cut across to their left using two ice ramps to reach the circular platform with the spinning blades. Soon after, they’ll come to a glass ramp, where they can use their third ice ramp to reach some spinning blocks off in the distance.
These blocks have a sticky substance on them, which can actually prove useful if players are aiming to land on them directly after jumping from their ice ramp. Otherwise, they can target the static platform just before them and then cross safely like in the video above. After crossing the spinning blocks, players should restock on ice ramps and then use one to get around the next set of spinning blades, after which, they’ll be able to fill up again.
From here, it’s a simple case of using the three ice ramps to skip across to the left and then navigating the crumbling platforms to reach the finish line. If players struggle with tight platforming, they may want to use their first two ice ramps to reach the existing ramp, thus saving one final ice ramp to gain some additional height and skip over some of the crumbling platforms.
Let It Slide Cameo Bots
to unlock both Let It Slide VIP Bots, players will need to make it to the end of the stage before the two birds. Beating the blue bird’s time (65 seconds) will unlock a Cameo Bot based onEve fromStellar Blade, while beating the red bird’s time (50 seconds) will reward players withanother Helldiver Cameo Botlike the one they got inthe Building Speed DLC stage. After unlocking Eve, players will be able to acquire a broken vending machine for her by visiting the Gatcha Lab.
