Released in August 2023,Baldur’s Gate 3gives players the freedom to choose from a range of pre-designed origin characters or design an original character from a variety of races and classes as they take on the fascinating fantasy game by Larian Studios, based on the fifth edition of the popular tabletop game,Dungeons & Dragons.
Roleplayers can select between twelve differentBaldur’s Gate 3classesand customize them with a variety of subclasses for interesting and exciting combat situations, depending on the player’s style. Quickly becoming one of the most celebrated RPGs of all time,Baldur’s Gate 3swept The Game Awards 2023, taking home six prizes, including Game of the Year. Now, fans can get their hands on the mainBG3party members asD&Dminiatures.
According to theWizKidswebsite, fans can now pre-order an “Icons of the Realms” box set dedicated to thecompanions fromBaldur’s Gate 3, which will release in February 2025. Each figure comes pre-painted, so roleplayers won’t have to worry about painting them beforehand, and the collection features seven iconic characters from Larian’s narrative, including Astarion, Shadowheart, Karlach, Laezel, Wyll, Gale, and even Withers. The box set is currently available for pre-order and can be purchased for $49.99. For tabletop enthusiasts who would like more choice, WizKids has also revealed its Booster Brick, which will contain three miniatures, but it’s left up to chance what buyers will end up receiving.

The Booster Brick will include 40 other creatures and characters fromBG3’s world, such as goblins and githyanki. There’s also a chance of pulling a miniature Dark Justicar orBaldur’s Gate 3’s big grizzly bear, who players initially come across at the Goblin Camp towards the start of their playthrough. A single booster pack can be picked up individually for $24.99 and includes one large miniature and three medium or small miniatures, and the Booster Brick can be bought for $199.92.
Unfortunately, those who were looking forward to seeingBaldur’s Gate 3’s Minthara, Halsin, or Jaheira as part of the “Icons of the Realms” box set may have to wait a while longer, as they aren’t included this time. However, that’s not to say that these beloved characters won’t be added sometime in the future.
