The Belega Corridor is one of the very first optional dungeons inMetaphor: ReFantazio, and serves as a taste of what the game has to offer. Bullish Embargo is a side quest issued by Brigitta, the Igniter shop owner in Grand Trad, that asks the protagonist to defeat the Guptauros holed up in the Belega Corridor dungeon. The reward? A hefty sum of cash, as well as abrand-new Archetype: the Merchant.
Before players can face down the fearsome Guptauros, however, they will have to navigate the circuitous, maze-like dungeon where he is hiding. For thorough explorers, even the dungeon can be a fortuitous encounter because of the many treasures hiding in its depths.

There aresix treasure chestsand a multitude of items ready to be claimed in the Belega Corridor Dungeon. Here is a step-by-step guide to claim them all.
Treasure Chest 1
From the dungeon entrance, go straight and pick up the item to the right. Ignore the stairs for now and take the path next to it. Just past the two Goborns, turn right, and you’ll find a treasure chest guarded by two more Goborns. Defeat the monsters and open the chest to obtain theBalm of Life.
Head back to the start and descend the stairs to the second floor. Speak with the Midlife Adventurer by the pillar to receive3x Stunning Arrows. Then, continue forward and collect the blue item on the ground. There’s a hidden tunnel on the right that loops back to the first section of the dungeon—ignore it and retrace your steps.
Make sure none of your party members has the Healer or Mage Archetype equipped in the Belega Corridor. The monsters that inhabit this dungeon, including the final boss, will enter a berserk state if they enter battle and one of the aforementioned Archetypes are on the field. In this state, their damage is vastly increased, and they become incredibly aggressive, making the fights much harder than they would be otherwise,especially on higher difficulties.
Treasure Chest 2
On the second floor, the area to the left only contains a single blue item and some Goborns. Clear it and continue down. Ignore the locked room to the left, as it cannot be accessed from here, and take the stairs to the right, leading to the third floor.
On this floor, head down, and you’ll find a staircase to your right. This leads back to the locked room on the second floor mentioned previously. Ascend and defeat the Goborns here to claim the treasure chest that contains theDamascus Vest (Def 123, Evasion 1).
Goborns are weak to poison and paralysis. Use Stunning Arrows to make fights easier.
Treasure Chest 3 + 4
Return to the third floor and take the path to the right that leads to the large room with multiple Goborns in the middle. On the left edge of this room will be a blue item surrounded by wooden barrels. Destroy the barrels to reveal a hidden path behind them. Enter and turn right to find a Golden Beetle. Turn around to find two more treasure chests, ready to be claimed. The first one contains theWitch’s Earring (Magic +3),and the second one has anAquamarine. Pick up the blue item on the left and re-enter the secret tunnel to return to the main room.
Treasure Chest 5 + 6
After defeating the Goborns, head north to a staircase that descends to the fourth floor. Clear the narrow passage of enemies and climb the stairs at the far end to return to a different section of the third floor. Here, use Gallica’s special sight to reveal a hidden tunnel along one of the walls. Use it to reach the secret room with two chests. One containsGuard Chausses (requires purification), and the other containsImp-Ending Pike (Atk 120, Hit 90, requires purification).
Final Battle
Return to the previous section and take the stairs on the left to reach the final room, just before the boss fight against the Grotesque Guptauros. Speak with More’s cat to save your progress, then interact with the wooden door to begin the final battle.
