BerserkChapter 377 focused on the land of the Kushan. Their navy vessels had managed to subdue the ship carrying Guts and the other members of the Black Swordsman Party. Due to Guts' mental condition, the Black Swordsman Party didn’t have a prayer against the Kushans. They could have been killed, but, luckily, Rickert was with the Kushans, and he helped them out.

Silat Reveals His Plan For The Kushan Army

Silat wasin the spotlight in Berserk Chapter 377. The leader of the Bakiraka was eagerly awaiting the new Kurultai. The Kurultai is a special event for the Kushans, held to discuss important issues related to the empire. The heads of different clans attend the Kurultai, making it a rather prestigious affair. In the chapter, it was revealed that many Kushan clan leaders believed Ganishka’s failure was due to him overlooking the Kurultai.

Silat thought he would get the chance to talk to the current Kushan leader at the Kurultai and present his ideas. Before Silat got the opportunity, Daiba was asked to come forward and disclose what he knew about Falconia and its army. The onlookers were stunned to learn about Griffith’s power, and they felt that they were powerless before the White Hawk.

Silat was growing impatient by the minute, so he decided to interrupt Daiba. He went in front of the current Kushan leader and requested to be made the general of the Kushan forces. This demand shocked everyone who had gathered for the Kurultai, as the Bakiraka did not have the best reputation. Most people were distrustful of the Bakiraka, so they didn’t want someone from the group leading the entire Kushan army. Silat reasoned that the Bakiraka had witnessed Griffith’s power firsthand, so they knew what to expect from the fight. Additionally, the Bakiraka had more proficiency than the other battalions within the Kushan empire. Silat reiterated that Griffith had to die for the continuation of peace in the Kushan territories.

The Invasion Of The Kushan Empire Begins

As Silat proposed his idea, the leader of the North Clan expressed his frustration. Those around him pointed to the odd outgrowth emerging from his back. Ultimately, it was revealed that Rakshas was the one behind the incident. Upon fully emerging from the body, he sent spikes toward everyone else around him.

Rakshas' emergence greatly disturbed the Od around the place, and it was sensed by Farnese, who immediately realized what she must do. Rakshas' arrival also caused the mark on Guts' neck to flare up and start bleeding. On the very next page, Guts was shown fully awake, so he knew someone strong had arrived.

The Battle Will Start In Chapter 378

Kushans Must Beat Rakshas At All Costs

Rakshas used to be a member of the Barikak, but he was kicked out due to his malpractices. He is a deviant who takes great pleasure in tormenting his victims, which arguably makes him the worst of Griffith’s soldiers. Rakshas is well-versed in stealth, so he was given the leadership of the assassination group within the new Band of Hawk. In his apostle form, Rakshas becomes more dangerous. He gains the ability to fly, allowing him to chase down targets with ease. Rakshas' tentacles also become more powerful and capable of lifting heavy objects.

In the past, Silat managed to stand up to Rakshas but couldn’t finish him off. However, things have changed significantly, and Rakshas is stronger now. So, Silat won’t be able to finish him off alone. He will require help from his allies to take down the apostle.

Will Guts Be Freed In The Next Chapter?

Berserk Chapter 377 confirmed thatGuts is still locked up, so he would not be joining the battle anytime soon. But there is no denying that Guts is the most experienced fighter in the series when it comes to fighting apostles. He has spent a great deal of time dealing with monsters and has made it his goal to exterminate every single one of them.

Guts has superhuman strength that allows him to wield the Dragon Slayer with little to no problems. The sword dwarfs most people, but Guts has mastered its use. While normal-sized swords cannot pierce the thick outerskin of most apostles, the Dragonslayer slices clean through them. It has survived battles against Zodd, Grunbeld, the Count, and many more apostles.

However, Guts' biggest weapon is the Berserker Armor. It significantly enhances Guts' physical abilities, but overusing it has serious complications. The Berserker Armorcan take over Guts' body andturn him into a feral beast that is deadset on destroying everything in its path. Guts would often be rescued by Schierke in such situations, but she has yet to wake up from her slumber. If Guts is freed, then Rakshas will be in for a world of pain. There is a strong possibility that he might die at Guts' hands.

In his quest for revenge, Guts confronts sinister forces, including violent criminals, evil spirits, and a devout adversary. Despite the immense personal cost, he fights relentlessly, relying solely on his human strength and swordsmanship to face enemies with unnatural powers.
