MMORPGs are notorious for their communities setting out to make the optimum builds for overcoming all of a game’s hurdles. Overcoming every dungeon inThrone and Libertywill mean that players need to have a mix of both survivability and damage so they can outlast their foes while also taking them down first.
Players will also need a build that works well against large groups of enemies and when facing off against a mighty boss. Luckily, players will havelots of friends to back them up, each playing their part in the group. These roles will consist of some of thebestThrone and Libertytanks, DPS, and support roles.
5Seeker
Wand & Tome + Longbow
Matching up the Wand & Tome with a Longbow gives players one of thebest support builds inThrone and Liberty. This build has everything a player could dream of when it comes to versatility and helping out allies. It features buffs, healing, crowd control options, and cooldown reduction. This build also grants access to partywide mana regeneration,synergizing well with its Wisdom statand making it a very desirable build for parties looking for a support.
However, every build comes with its drawbacks. Players pairing these weapons will find that they don’t deal much damage, and they will want to dedicate the bulk of their time to supporting allies as their primary objective. They will also realize that they have a rather squishy character that cannot get out of a bad situation on their own, relying on their allies to act as buffers.
4Scout
Crossbow + Longbow
Playing a Scout means really making the most of being a long-range damage dealer. Players will be able to reliably pour damage where it is needed thanks to a combination of damage-dealing skills and reducing skill cooldowns. Players will also be able to use their health as a resource for mana regeneration and be able to debuff enemies, allowing the entire party to pile on a single target.
Players using this build will need to pay close attention to their placement and know where they can be the most effective. When a player receives damage, the Longbow allows them access to Nature’s Blessing for increased health generation. This means players will really want to commit to staying out of danger and aiding the group. Something else to keep in mind is that this build is only as strong as its synergy, and players will want tospread out their skill upgrades.
3Crusader
Greatsword + Sword & Shield
Any new player wishing togo at the game solois going to want to play a tank, and this is the best tank in the entire game. Sword & Shield will give players plenty of defense, and the Greatsword’s Robust Constitution passive will spike a player’s maximum HP and health regeneration. This lets them charge straight up into battle or hook enemies in close. Players will be able to deal large amounts of damage to groups of enemies and strong single target foes alike.
While this build has fairly long cooldowns, this should not be seen as a weakness - just part of how it plays. In fact, some players might find this makes it even easier to play. Its biggest drawback is its reliance on melee range. Players will need to close in on targets by dashing up close or pulling them in, and taking too much damage too quickly can overwhelm even the tankiest of characters. Being a much easier class to play means that players are less likely to remap any of their key bindings.
2Templar
Sword & Shield + Wand & Tome
Players will want tosave up their Ornate Coinsand other currencies for character progression materials for this build. They may be really enticed by the versatility of Wand & Tome + Longbow, but they may not want to be as squishy. These players will want to turn their attention to playing a Templar. Templars feature the same level of versatility as a Seeker, with an increased amount of DPS and significantly higher survivability. Pairing the Sword & Shield weapon with any other weapon immediately makes for a better tank than any build without it.
While this build makes for an incredible healer that can take a lot more damage, they are not as self-sustaining due to losing out on the Longbow’s mana regeneration. This makes it a mana-hungry build that can only really come online once players haveall the right pieces of gear. It makes up for this by being a great leveling build that can get all the pieces it needs to become one of the best builds in the game for any game mode.
1Scorpion
Crossbow + Daggers
Players looking to speed through the game and clear dungeons in record time are going towant to play a DPS character. The scorpion is a damage machine that can fight at any range and has all the tools it needs to carry their party to efficient dungeon clearing. While it might not be very tanky, it is very mobile and able to avoid taking damage so well that a skilled player will not need to rely on a support to heal them.
Being able to decimate smaller enemiesand other players in PvPis one thing, but this build performs its best against bosses and large health single targets. Seeing a veteran player use this build can allow the onlooker to witness damage numbers they may not have seen before. That said, these massive damage numbers come with a price, as Scorpions will burn through mana very fast.
