MasteringTCG Card Shop Simulatortakes some time. Early on, it is all too easy to make simple mistakes like overstocking items or hiring slow-moving staff members. Thankfully, one thing that is relatively easy during the early stages of the game is selecting which units to purchase. This is because the player is limited as to what units are available. That said, as they progress and begin unlocking new units, the player will need to start making decisions as to which units they want to have displaying their stock.

This list will take a look at the best units available in the My DIY Racks App. It’s worth noting that cash registers, play tables, and the workbench won’t be included in this article.

Small Metal Rack

9Small Metal Rack

Great Value For Money

The small metal rack is great on a number of levels. While it holds slightly less than the single-sided shelf, it is $100.00 cheaper to buy. Also, these units look pretty nice when placed at the end of an aisle. They hold up to 32 items on each shelf and have a total of 5 shelves. They work well when placed against the wall, and they also work well when placed back to back with another small metal rack.

These units are very cost-effective, making them great early-game investments. Also, since they aren’t as wide as single-sided shelves, small metal racks don’t require as much space as their larger counterparts.

Single Sided Shelf

8Single Sided Shelf

Looks Great And Holds A Decent Amount Of Stock

This is the first unit that players will have in their store. It has a total of 6 shelves, can be placed flush against a wall, and each shelf can hold up to 32 packs of cards. While these units can be placed back to back, it is much more beneficial to use double-sided shelves or wide units when creating central aisles.

Typically, players will have quite a few of these units that run along the walls of their store. At the time of writing, there aren’t any decorative wall items in the game, so players instead dedicate all their wall space to units like the single-sided shelf. But overall, these units area great way to make money.

Card Table

7Card Table

A Potentially Huge Moneymaker

Card tables are hugely profitable units that players should definitely invest in.A bit part of the game involves the player opening packs of cards. Should they pack anything particularly valuable, they may want to consider selling it to a customer, especially if the valuable card is a duplicate. While card tables can be fairly time-consuming units to manage, since employees can’t stock them, they are more than worth the effort due to how much money they can generate.

Not only are these units great for making some extra money, but they are alsodecent sources of XP, especially when the player is selling valuable cards.

Double Sided Shelf

6Double Sided Shelf

Ideal For Central Aisles

Double-sided shelves have considerably more storage space than single-sided ones. Not only can both sides be used to display stock, butit has a total of 4 usable shelves as opposed to the 3 shelves that the single-sided units have. These are great for creating early to mid-game aisles. Due to how scent machines work, double-sided shelving units are great for herding smelly customers, so they are guaranteed to get ‘des-stinked’ as they enter the player’s store. Similar to the single-sided shelf, double-sided units can hold up to 32 packs of cards on each shelf, which is a decent amount.

5Big Warehouse Shelf

The Better Of The Two Storage Units

As the player gets further into the game, they’ll begin to expand their store. Each expansion brings in more customers. It will quickly get to the point where ordering stock day by day just won’t be enough to keep the shelves full.Big warehouse shelves are great for keeping a stockpile of itemsthat employees can use to constantly keep shelves topped up.

A lot of players opt touse shop Bas a storage room. This is a good idea as it keeps the store and the storage room separate. Also, if the player organizes a few big warehouse shelves, then they can use these units to work out which items they need to purchase. Without these units, players will need to go shelf by shelf to work out what they need to buy.

Big Storage Unit

4Card Display Table

Show Off Your Valuable Cards While Also Directing Customer Flow

These units won’t bring in any money, but they sure look cool. Since they aren’t very tall, they are great for building barriers that guide customers to certain areaswhile also offering the player great visibility across their store.

Showing off rare and valuable cardsis something that most card collectors get some satisfaction from. Keeping valuable cards hidden away in a binder isn’t as exciting as showing them off for all to see. These are great for creating customer que systems as customers will form a line around them instead of creating a snake-like line by the register.

3Trash Bin

Increase Employee Efficiency

This unit won’t make players money in the conventional sense, but it willmake employees more efficient. When the game was first released, the only available trash bin was fixed in place outside the store. While that trash bin is still there, players can now purchase bins that can be moved. If the player puts down one of these next to their storage area, then employees won’t need to go outside every time they need to throw away an empty box. This helps to make employees more efficient, thus making the player more money, since there is less chance of the shelves running bare.

2Auto Scent G500

Best Value For Money When Dealing With Smelly Customers

Dealing with stinky customers is something that the player will need to do on a daily basis.Stinky customers actively put off other customers, which may end up with some customers walking out of the store without making a purchase and possibly evenleaving a bad review. Auto Scent units ‘de-stink’ smelly customers, creating a better shopping experience for everyone. This isn’t the only scent unit that players can buy, but it is the most cost-efficient one.

The small unit holds two cans of cleaner while this unit holds four. While the large unit holds up to eight cans of cleaner, it is considerably more expensive than the G500. If the player invests in two of the G500 units and places them by the door, very few stinky customers will be able to make their way in and stink up the store.

Trash Bin

1Wide Shelf

The Best Unit In The Game For Selling Products

The wide shelf is by far the best unit in the game.It can hold much more stock than all other units in the game. For example, by default, players can only place a maximum of two Mafia Works board games on a shelf. The wide shelf can hold six boxes. This is great because of how customer purchasing works. When a customer decides to purchase something from a shelf, they’ll select a random number between one and however many items are on said shelf. If there are more items on the shelf, then the customer has a higher chance of spending more money.
