Which Weapon Should You Buy First in REDACTED?

Players can equip two weapons at a time, melee and ranged. Choosing the right weapons in these two categories is the key togetting longer runsand escaping. Different options are available to the player, and most are viable for the right play style.

Surprisingly, themost versatile weapon choiceis going with the default weapons, i.e., the Baton + Hand Cannon. The Baton’s charged attacks has decent range, while its normal attack sequence isn’t too restricting. Meanwhile, the Hand Cannon’s 14 bullets and decent fire rate make it a good overall weapon. It does good damage with each shot and is quite accurate.

Best Short Range Weapons in REDACTED

For players that prefer to getup close and personalto their enemies, Barman Shankers + Riot Gun is what they should unlock first. Barman Shankers has a very short range but a very fast attack speed and deals additional backstab damage in return.

The Riot Gun isessentially a shotgunthat deals okay damage at range and a lot of damage in close range. It only has eight bullets, but the high damage output at close range is worth the tradeoff.

Best Long Range Weapons in REDACTED

The safest, arguably the best, method of fighting is from a range. There are two melee weapons thatlong-range fighterscan opt to unlock, i.e., theCattle Prod or the Electric Whip. The Cattle Prod is easy to unlock, has a good range, and can deal damage in small bursts. On the other hand, the Electric Whip has a significantly longer range, has a good AoE attack, and deals a lot of damage.

The two downsides to the Electric Whip are its slow attack speed and the fact that it isn’t available from the start. You’ll need to unlock 3 to 4 other weapons before the Electric Whip becomes available. Ironically, there aren’t any truly long-range ranged weapons available earlier in the game. you may get a Hand Cannon, which is a decent weapon overall, or the Riot Gun, which will cover your shortcomings as a long-range fighter.
