eddie richtofen with the wunderwaffe

10Eddie Richtofen

The Director of Requiem

Edward Richtofen is not the one players might remember from Ultimis or Primis. Instead, this version of “Eddie” Richtofen was the one that survived the Aether storyline and emerged with Samantha Maxis in the new universe. However,Richtofen will always be Richtofen, and it’s no surprise that the Director of Requiem has his own plans and grand schemes that see him play both sides of Requiem and Omega Group to get what he wants after the death of his wife and son.

Richtofen’s ultimate goal is unknown, but he has been utterly devoted to Project Janus. While it’s still unclear what Richtofen’s goals are, the fact that he knows and is seeking the Sentinel Artifacts from the Chaos Storyline, and Prima Materia, shows that Richtofen isn’t afraid to leave science behind to get what he wants.

In doing so, he managed to secure himself a position within Requiem, where he aided the strike teams by trying to contain zombie outbreaks while keeping the staff of Requiem safe as the head of security.

However, like Weaver, Carver was sentenced to prison on Terminus, where his service to his country has left him to rot for 5 years. Carverwants Richtofen to payfor what he has done, and the best way to do that is to remain allies with his former Requiem staff.

8Grigori Weaver

Former Field Operations Specialist, Out for Revenge

Grigori Weaver was a prominent member of the CIA and aided in the interrogation of Alex Mason to try and stop a nuclear war from breaking out. Since then, Weaver has been integral to the CIA’s operations through Requiem, where he tasked Strike Teams with stopping zombie outbreaks across the globe. Weaver was Requiem’s Special Operations Officer, but that’s a big emphasis on was.

One of Weaver’s operations involved the death of Richtofen’s wife and son, and as such, it was the perfect excuse to silence him and keep him locked up for 5 years on the prison island of Terminus. Weaver has dreamed of nothing but the comfort of revenge against Richtofen for the years stolen from him, and the outbreak inTerminus is just the excuse he needsto find him.

7Elizabeth Grey

Elizabeth Grey was once just one of Requiem’s scientists and an important one at that. Grey led the Unnatural Sciences division, and she aided Requiem’s strike teams in dissolving the worldwide branches from the corrupted Dark Aether that wouldbegin zombie outbreaks. Grey was a good person, but the Director of Requiem had other plans for her.

Drafted to work for Requiem by her own British government, Grey would later be held captive at the order of the Director of Requiem, and for years she was left to rot on Terminus Island. Grey has now become hardened and ruthless due to her imprisonment, and she’s out to get those who wronged her.

However, the head of Energy Research at Project Janus had other plans.

Janus had made unknown contacts within the Dark Aether, and he used his newfound powers to free himself and trap the strike team sent to rescue him in his place. strauss in his cell

5Oskar Strauss

Oskar Strauss was a German scientist who just wanted to commit himself to scientific discoveries and research. However, being German, Strauss was forced to work for the Nazis, which has led to his reputation forever scarred. Strauss may have been involved in some Nazi projects, and that of Nova Six, but Strauss has put his knowledge into energy research at Requiem, where his talents are best used to understand Aetherium and its properties.

Strauss is totally devoted to science, and so the mention of ancient artifacts and Prima Materia are something he utterly scoffs at. Strauss is at his most comfortable in his laboratory, but 5 years locked up in Terminus have left him unkempt and almost a tad deranged as he tries to escape with his allies and refute the evidence surrounding Chaos.

A Pilot Who Loves Being Airborne and Helping Agents Exfil

Stone Maddox is more known for his callsign “Raptor One”. Maddox is loyal to his country and his allies, and even when tortured by Omega Group, he refuses to back down and give them the information that they desire. Raptor One is strong-willed, and his piloting skills are like no other.

Raptor One isn’t exactly complicit in the actions of the heads of Requiem, but he never blames them for his imprisonment alongside them on Terminus Island. As soon as they are freed, Raptor One manages to use his talents to find a helicopter and prepare for exfil.

A Robot Soldier Created For Requiem

He is Klaus, and he is here to help. Klaus might be a robot, but his allegiance to Requiem is programmed and unbreakable. Klaus was created by Elizabeth Grey for the capabilities of long-ranged missions for Requiem, and Klaus even strangely exhibits some consciousness that may be better trained under a watchful eye, since Klaus doesn’t care for human life all too much.

Klaus may have been created by Elizabeth Grey, but he has been reprogrammed and instructed by the Director of Requiem, Edward Richtofen, to stop anyone from finding out about Project Janus. Klaus has killed allies before, and with Richtofen’s control, it’s likely that he will do it again.

john blanchard and eddie richtofen

1John Blanchard

The Security Chief for Project Janus

The Project Janus facility in Liberty Falls, West Virginia, had John Blanchard in charge of its safety. Blanchard was tasked by Richtofen with containing the dimensional incursion that had ravished this small town, and he had to lock down the city and call for reinforcements to get outside help in ensuring that this outbreak does not extend past the town.

John Blanchard managed to contain the outbreak and aid survivors but at the cost of a Requiem strike team. Blanchard’s history as Richtofen’s ally is unexplored, but it’s clear that Blanchard is just in charge of security, and isn’t really clued into any of Requiem’s darker dealings.
