Those who have played whack-a-mole in a fairground or arcade will know how infuriating it is to smash-smash-smash but get no reward. However,Black Ops 6 Zombiesfixes that by allowing players to take their rage out on some adorable crabs on Terminus Island, and get some cool rewards, including aguaranteed free perk!
Black Ops 6Zombieshas many secrets, and one of them involves a few games of whack-a-crab that will allow them to unlock new goodies for their loadout, to ensure that their game is going to go smoothly before the horrifying horde really ramps it up.
Go to Crab Island and Explode the Crab Cage
The South Island on Terminus can be visited by acquiring a boat. Taking the boat to Crab Island, players will want to head to the center rock, where looking up at the tree line they will see a crab trap caught in some trees. By using any form of explosives, players will be able to knock the crab trap down, which will activate 4 versions of whack-a-crab throughout Crab Island.
Each Whack-a-Crab minigame will despawn zombies so players can commit to the minigamewithout worrying about getting killed.
Whack-a-Crab Free Perk
Just under where players knocked down the crab cage, there will be a bundle of craps popping in and out of the sand. Melee attacks one of them to begin a minigame where players have 30 seconds to hit as many crabs as they can with a gifted baseball bat. After those 30 seconds, a random Perk-a-Cola can drop, allowing players to drink an additional perk, free of charge!
Whack-a-Crab Free Essence
To the left of the island just by the Armor Wall-Buy, there is another huddle of crabs that can be attacked with a melee weapon to begin another game of whack-a-crab. After the 30 seconds is up, players will have a bundle of free Essence canisters which can be picked up for thousands of extra points.
Whack-a-Crab Free Weapon
Head to the Armor Wall-Buy and hug the rock wall to the left, where another crab spawn will be located. Players can again melee the crabs to begin a 30-second mini-game, where depending on how many crabs players hit, they can earn arandom weapon from green rarity to orange.
Whack-a-Crab Free Salvage
By the Crafting Bench, check the map to find the circular rock, where looking down from it, players can find yet another crab minigame that is started through a melee hit. The 30-second timer begins, and the reward is a bunch of free Salvage that can be spent on upgrading weapon rarities and acquiring new equipment.
