The Beamsmasher and the Ray Gun are highly sought-after weapons forBlack Ops 6 Zombiesplayers, and those who embark on the dangerous Terminus Island maps will surely want to get them sooner rather than later. Luckily, there’s asmall and secret side questin Terminus that allows players to get a free Wonder Weapon, if luck is on their side.
The easter egg itself involves shooting a meteor out of the sky and relishing in the treasures that it drops.Black Ops 6Zombiesisfilled with secrets, and this one is definitely one to try every game in the hopes of acquiring a Beamsmasher or a Ray Gun in the early rounds.
A Wonder Weapon is not a guaranteed loot drop from this side quest, but it is still likely.
Activate the Void Cannon Trap
The first step involves players going through the Mess Hall and entering the Gun Platform. From here, head to the backside of the area to activate the Void Cannon trap, which will cost 1,750 Essence. Upon activating the trap, try to avoid the Void Cannon or it will suck players up and teleport them somewhere random. Once the trap has completed its run, allow for the cooldown to run its course and enter into a new round, as thenext step cannot be completed on the same round.
Shoot Electrified Radio Towers with a Deadwire Pack-a-Punched Gun
Once players have activated the Void Cannon at least once, they are then going to want to acquire aPack-a-Punched weaponof their choice, and then equip the Deadwire Ammo Mod onto it with Salvage. It’s easier to do this step with a weapon that has a sight, as players will need to shoot two targets in a short time frame, with both these targets being out of the map.
The first target is a radio tower that is easily shot outside of Engineering. The radio tower will have a blue light of electricity on it, and players must shoot this with the weapon that has Deadwire and Pack-a-Punch. After shooting the first target, it should surge with electricity and the light should turn red. Now, players immediately need to run up to the Storage Area outside of Quick Revive and shoot the second radio tower’s blue light to turn that one red.
Re-Activate the Void Cannon
Once players have both radio towers activated, they will both remain red. Now,progress through to the next roundand then re-activate the Void Cannon. Focus on the Void Cannon’s beam and watch, as it should shoot a meteor out of the sky. Now, watch where that meteorite lands, as it should be heading to the left of the screen.
Once players have seen the Void Cannon shoot a meteor out of the sky, it’s time to head to a boat and sail to the island on the East side of the map, known as Castle Rock. On this island, there will be a pit of fire from the meteor crash and a bundle of loot. Completing the stepon higher roundshas a chance for increased loot gains, like Salvage, Essence, Ammo Mods, and of course, a free Wonder Weapon.
If players have not received a free Wonder Weapon from the meteor easter egg, then solo players can save and quit on the round they completed the quest on to try the method again in the hopes of having better luck next time.
