Obtaining loot is essential to survival inBlack Ops 6Zombies, and if players want to get to high rounds and enjoy the thrills ofnew Augmentsand Levels, then it’s going to be necessary to find the best source of loot possible, especially when facing the horrors of Terminus Island.
Players might have stumbled upon a Loot Key on their escapades across Terminus Island, but where does one use thisBlack Ops 6Zombiestreasure? Since Terminus holds many secrets, it’s no surprise that this one might be a tad elusive, but luckily it’s rather simple to unlock the Armory and use Loot Keys.
How to Get Loot Keys
To start, players are going to want to actually get their hands on a Loot Key. Loot Keys can be acquired through a random drop when killing mini-boss enemieslike Manglers and Amalgams. After these enemies have been killed, check their loot drops and there may be a Loot Key waiting for them to pick up and add to their Personal Items. Alternatively, players might be able to get a Loot Key upon completion of a S.A.M. Trial, but that also depends on the success rate, with a full Legendary completion granting more rewards.
While players can find Green and Blue rarity Loot Keys, it’s really not worth wasting them, so it’s best to just leave them on the floor and wait for a lucky drop of a Purple or Orange Loot Key, as that will offer players the most rewards when they get around to using them.
How to Unlock the Armory
Loot Keys can be used on lockers inside the Armory, which is located in the lower floor of the Control Centerjust to the left of Stamin-Up. All players need to do is walk up to the closed door in the left corner of the room, and a prompt to enter the Armory will appear. Once inside, players have around 45 seconds to interact with the yellow lockers and use their Loot Key, which will be changed to an Armory Key.
Using a Loot Key in the Armory will grant players an abundance of rewards depending on the rarity of the Loot Key. Players can earn Salvage, Essence, different rarities of weapons,Scorestreaks, and if they are really lucky, maybe a Perk-a-Cola ora Wonder Weapon.
After 45 seconds inside the Armory, players will be kicked out and will have to wait until the next round to access the Armory again. Players do not need to worry about zombies while in the Armory, as they will not be able to spawn inside. After exiting,an Aether blastwill kill any zombie within the Control Center.
While the Armory is usually safe, there is a zombie spawn room at the right of the room that an occasional crawler might be able to get through.
