Zombies are one of the core three modes of any TreyarchCall of Dutytitle, andBlack Ops 6fully embraces that once more. What’s interesting aboutBlack Ops 6Zombies, is that this time around, there’s a dedicated crew for the Zombies maps. However, that doesn’t mean thatBlack Ops 6Zombiesshould relegate these characters, and the characters of the past, to just mentions and separate modes. After all, who wouldn’t want more Operator skins?
Operators helpCall of Dutystand out with their unique skins from unlocks and store purchases, and what better way than to celebrateCall of Duty Zombiesby bringing in some much-needed and highly desired Zombies characters of the past back into the game tomake every fan happy?
7Edward Richtofen
The Protagonist of Zombies Who Always Has a Grand Scheme
Whether it’s Ultimis, Primis, or Eddie, Richtofen is perhaps the most essential and recognizable character in all ofCOD Zombies. As a hero, schemer, or villain, Richtofen is always someone that fans root for due to his incredible story and ties to the characters woven within the web of Zombies. It’s inevitable that players will see Richtofen again due to the grievances that the former members of Requiem have with him.
It would be an utter waste ifBlack Ops 6does not bring Richtofen back into the fight as a playable operator. Not only is he the face ofCall of Duty Zombies, but his hilarious and incredible voice work from Nolan North always deserves recognition.
6T.E.D.D. the Bus Driver
TranZit’s Bus Driver Who Deserves Arms, Legs, and a Gun
Although T.E.D.D. the Bus Driver comes from a now erased timeline in which he was the bus driveron the TranZit map, his memory does not need to be forgotten, nor does his inclusion have to be canon. If the Alcatraz Warden of Brutus from Mob of the Dead can feature, then surely so can T.E.D.D. After all, his face is a Prestige emblem reward, so why not give him a body to fight with?
T.E.D.D. was always sassy and pretty rude to other survivors of the zombie apocalypse, so let him relish in his hatred for humans by giving him an Operator skin and showingBlack Ops 2some love by allowing him to run around and kill people and zombies alike.
5Nikolai Belinski
The Man Who Broke Fate by Killing His Friends
Nikolai Belinski has lived two lives with Primis and Ultimis, and whereas the latter is a drunkard who loves to consume vodka and share fictional tales of how he murdered his gallery of wives, the former is a more refined, younger, and conflicted self – yet both of them deserve a chance at being Operators inBlack Ops 6.
Nikolai is famed for his silly personality, but he is also infamous for the burden he held to kill Primis and Ultimis to ensure that everything evil was banished to the Dark Aether. Nikolai’s return would showcase that the cycle may be broken, butthere’s always hopefor more stories of some fan favorites.
4Pablo Marinus
The Unseen Hero of the Great War
Despite being mentioned across multipleCall of Duty Zombiestitles, Pablo Marinus has never actually been playable, nor even seen outside of a noclip easter egg on Tag der Toten. Pablo Marinus was once part of Richtofen’s experiments and was actually one of the core four before the introduction of Dempsey. However, left for dead after the removal of his spleen,Pablo Marinus never got his shot.
Pablo could easily feature as an Operator skin for die-hard Zombies fans, and it would be a great way to bring something familiar but new into the series, especially since Tom Kane’s retirement from Takeo Masaki would make that character unlikely to return, so why not have the unsung and unseen hero of the Great War come into play?
3“Tank” Dempsey
The Marine Who Loves Killing Zombies and Shouting ooRAH
A love of his country and hula girls, Tank Dempsey is the ideal soldier and one who deserves another hoorah. Dempsey is integral to the Primis and Ultimis crews, and the fact that a gravestone in Liberty Falls reads Ruth Dempsey cannot be a coincidence, and hopefully it means that in this new universeinvolved with the Dark Aether, there’s a Tank Dempsey out there waiting to slay some maggot-addicts.
Even if it’s a classic Dempsey from the Primis and Ultimis years, either or both of them would be greatly accepted. The core four need a Dempsey to maybe not bring the brain, but to certainly bring the brawn, and having an American hero like him in the fold adds humor back to the fight.
2John F. Kennedy
The 35th President, and the Pentagon Zombies Survivor
John F. Kennedy isn’t exactly the most famous Call of Duty Zombies character due to the fact he’s a real-life politician and the 35th President of the United States who was unfortunately assassinated. However, JFK still hasheavy ties toBlack Opsand features heavily in the Zombies storyline thanks to his robust confidence and expertise with firearms when it came to defending the Pentagon from a zombie invasion in Five.
John F. Kennedy would make for a great feature inBlack Ops 6, and not only would it be hilarious to run around with omnimovement and quickscope players with JFK, but it would also open the door for bizarre future collabs of other presidents to return, and who wouldn’t want a Five reunion?
1Scarlett Rhodes
The Protagonist of the Abandoned Chaos Storyline
Scarlett Rhodes comes from the abandoned Chaos storyline that featured heavily in the first half ofBlack Ops 4’s life cycle. WhileChaos itself wasn’t prominently loveddue to the fan enjoyment of the Aether and Primis characters, that doesn’t mean Scarlett should be forgotten, especially now that the Chaos story has crept its way into canon inBlack Ops 6thanks to the Terminus map.
Scarlett was perhaps the most important character of the Chaos storyline, so featuring her in any capacity, and bringing her back as an Operator with refined goals would be a great idea to further bridge the gap and divisiveness that came with the release ofBlack Ops 4.
