Boruto: Two Blue Vortexhas excited the fans quite a bit, given that all the young generation shinobi that fans saw as kids in the predecessor series have now become responsible ninjas, capable of lifting the burden of the world on their shoulders. At the same time, fans always expect the old generation, specifically those from Naruto’s time, to shine.
Among those of the old generation,Naruto and Sasuke are always at the forefront of things, and fans will always want them to be involved in one way or another, given that they are the most popular characters in the entire franchise. When it comes to Sasuke, fans know that he has not been dealt the best cards in theBorutoseries. However, Sasuke certainly has grown tremendously strong, and fans know for a fact that he has hidden strength up his sleeve that he hasn’t shown just yet.
Sasuke’s Loss Of Rinnegan In Boruto Crippled Him
In theBorutoseries, Sasuke was often seen on the losing end. In the early fights against Momoshiki, his weakness was rather apparent. Sasuke was not strong enough to defeat Momoshiki on his own, just like Naruto. However, they were not treated equally in theBorutoseries, which was uniquely different for the fans. Usually, both Naruto and Sasuke progress at the same time. Kishimoto has even stated previously that Naruto and Sasuke are like Yin and Yang and that when one grows, so must the other. However, when Naruto Uzumaki gained Baryon Mode, Sasuke was just a bystander and was not able to do anything. Both of them lost their major powers at the same time. Sasuke lost his Rinnegan without actually getting to do anything significant in Boruto. This was unacceptable for many fans, and, ever since then, he has not been as important as fans would have liked him to be.

Sasuke Uchiha was somewhat relevant around the timeskip, when he saved Boruto and fled the village. Sasuke was branded a rogue ninja, which surprised the fans quite a bit. More importantly, he took Boruto with him and trained him in ninja arts for about a year and a half. Sasuke drilled into him every skill that he knew, and set him on the path to save the world. When Boruto faced danger from Code and the Claw Grimes, Sasuke saw to it that Boruto was kept safe, and used his own body as a shield. This is when Sasuke was bitten by a Claw Grime, and turned into a tree. Using his DNA,a Shinju with his powers was born, who fans know to be Hidari.
Clearly, Sasuke has been important in Boruto, but fans expect a more extensive rule for him in this story. So far, Sasuke has not shown any real value in Two Blue Vortex, and hopefully, that is going to change soon.
How Sasuke Got Stronger In Two Blue Vortex
Sasuke Managed To Train His Body During The Timeskip
While most fans might not have noticed it, Sasuke has grown tremendously in terms of strength inBoruto: Two Blue Vortex. This was confirmed to the fans around the timeskip flashback. Sasuke trained himself with Boruto Uzumaki, and it was made clear to the fans that he now possessed greater strength. Naturally, more training strengthened Sasuke further. Sasuke knew that he needed to train in other arts, especially because his Rinnegan was not accessible to him anymore.

Sasuke grew tremendously strong in this time period, and actually managed to gain a power up. Around this time, Sasuke was still stronger than Boruto, which should not come as a surprise to any fan. His strength was shown when he fought against Code. Despite Code having his limiters removed, Sasuke was actually able to overwhelm him in battle and take one of his eyes. This was a massive feat for him. In this battle, Sasuke would most definitely not have fallen had the Claw Grimes not been there.
Sasuke essentially took on an entire army by himself, and the fact that he was able to fight against and injure someone who was on the level of Jigen, if not stronger, goes to suggest that he grew tremendously in power.
Compared to the last time when Sasuke fought against Jigen, fans saw him on an entirely different level. This is a massive power-up for Sasuke and is a source of hidden strength. That said, in which exact department Sasuke grew during this time, fans do not know.
At the same time, there is alsothe possibility of Sasuke gaining a new power uponce he does return. By the time Sasuke returns to the story, Boruto Uzumaki and Kawaki, along with the others, will most likely have pulled ahead of the older generation. Clearly, Konoha’s biggest defender, Sasuke, cannot be left behind and he needs to strengthen himself in one way or another. Sasuke needs to grow stronger, and, in doing so, get another power-up, which could come later down the line in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

Sasuke Could Regain His Rinnegan
While fans might not have expected it, Sasuke could potentially gain a new power-up inBoruto: Two Blue Vortex.This could come in many ways. For one, fans know that Sasuke can receive a second arm. So far, Sasuke refused an arm, and this was to atone for his sins. But, by this point, Sasuke has done more than enough to atone for what he did, and he certainly should take a second arm. Perhaps, Sasuke will receive a prosthetic made from Hashirama cells, which could potentially give him access to Wood Release. If Sasuke gains Wood Release, he will be much stronger than before.
But, more than that,Sasuke should receive his Rinnegan once again. As to how that would be made possible, fans know that Ada possesses the ability to make anything that she wants into a reality. The power of Omnipotence is absolute. She can do whatever she wants with this ability, and perhaps, restoring an eye and healing people is possible with her powers.
The only obstacle in Sasuke’s way is Ada’s control over the ability. As fans know, she does not have active control over Omnipotence, which is why she accidentally forced everyone to get infatuated with her upon first look. Ada’s ability could be key to Sasuke receiving a major power up later down the line when things are reversed. Perhaps, Sasuke will regain his Rinnegan, and, at the same time, stack that on top of the already acquired strength from the timeskip. Sasuke, at the peak of his powers inBoruto, is going to be stronger than ever before, and fans could see him fight characters onthe same level as Isshiki effortlessly. This is something that fans would love to see in Boruto, and hopefully, the author will deliver.
