Summary
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6fans are divided over the victory animations shown at the end of the match, with many in the community calling the feature gimmicky and pointless. This is not the first time the feature has been added to the franchise, but its addition inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6seems to be drawing much more flak from the community due to the way it has been implemented.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6was widely acclaimed by the community at launch, but the game came with its fair share of issues. While bugs have been the major cause of criticism from the community, fans seem to be unhappy about a returning feature fromCall of Duty: Black Ops 2.
In a new post,Reddit user TrevTrevyexpressed their frustration regarding anewly added feature inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6. The user calls the winner’s circle feature inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6childish, and several other posts on Reddit seem to echo similar sentiments. Highlighting that the winner’s circle animations are quite subpar, the user notes that it completely kills the atmosphere of the game. The winner’s circle is a small sequence that players get to see after a match ends inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, where the top three fraggers get a chance to showcase their skins and emotes. And to no surprise, some players tend to go overboard with their emotes, leaving their opponents frustrated.
Fans Are Unhappy About Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Winner Circle
One of the major reasons for the criticism is the fact that the entire sequence is way too long and players are unable to proceed to the next match. Additionally, many players felt that the feature wasn’t implemented well, as the animations are quite janky. In particular, afterplayers emote inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, their operator goes back to their original position after a very awkward animation. Fans aren’t happy about the sound effects either, with many finding some of them out of place with the visuals.
On the flip side, some players seem to be having a lot of fun getting on their opponent’s nerves through the winner’s circle. This feature was last seen inCall of Duty: Black Ops 2, and it was controversial even back then. Players are now requesting the developers to add an option to turn off the winner’s circle altogether. WithActivision actively implementing changes based on player feedback inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, it remains to be seen whether this feature also gets added to the game.
