In anew blog post, Activision reveals all the weapons players can use inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6at launch. The list includes thirty-three different weapons, twelve of which are making their debut in the franchise. There is decent variety across the board, with the weapon pool comprising seven Assault Rifles, six SMGs, two Shotguns, three LMGs, four Marksman Rifles, and threeSniper Rifles inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Fans aren’t happy about the weapon list mainly because the AEK-973, one of themost anticipated weapons inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, has been revealed as a burst rifle. Many expected that the AEK-973 would be quite similar to the AK-74 but with way better recoil control. The AEK-973 gained its popularity by featuring in theBattlefieldfranchise, and fans were quite excited to see it inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6. However, with the AEK-973 being a burst rifle, fans believe that it will struggle to find its place in theCall of Duty: Black Ops 6meta.

Another reason why players are unhappy is due to the absence of the M1911. Despite being a pistol, it is one of themost popular weapons in theCall of Dutyfranchise, having featured in nearly every installment. While it was missing from the last two iterations of the franchise, fans were quite optimistic when they saw the weapon being featured on the game’s key art. However, it seems like it will not be available at launch. That’s not the only gun that is missing, as many highlighted that the M16 has been skipped from the launch weapon pool as well, further fueling disappointment in the community.
