In a recent Reddit post, user RemiDanger revealed that they have been taking photos with theirCall of Dutygame copies annually starting from 2012’sBlack Ops 2all the way to this year’s release. RemiDanger, who said that they are loving the newBlack Ops 6so far, notably had no photos withGhostsand the third entry of theModern Warfarereboot. The latter is considered by many to feature one of the worstCall of Dutysingle-player campaignsin the entire franchise.

Call of Duty Fan Takes Photo With Every Game Copy Since 2012’s Black Ops 2

RemiDanger explained to fellow community members in a follow-up post that they liked all theCall of Dutygames except forGhostsand last year’sModern Warfare 3,which have average scores of 72 and 58, respectively, on review aggregate site OpenCritic. They then pointed out that the first twoBlack Opstitles and 2019’sModern Warfarereboot topped their list of favorite games in the series.Black Opsis still among theCall of Dutyfranchise’s highest-rated games, standing alongside other fan favorites likeWorld at War, Infinity Ward’s originalModern Warfare, and the series' very first entry from 2003.

WhileBlack Ops 6currently has a Mixed overall rating on Steam, the title has received an average score of 82 onOpenCritic. Many have praised the game’s campaign, which offers a spy action thriller set in an alternate version of the 90s. The shooter also features a new omnidirectional movement system, 16 fresh multiplayer maps, and an expanded storyline for the beloved Zombies mode, among other things.

Black Ops 6is the firstCall of Dutytitle to have a day one launch on Xbox Game Pass following Microsoft’s buyout of Activision Blizzard. Aside from the blockbuster shooter, several games were also added to Xbox’s subscription service in October, including the newMechWarrior 5: ClansandSouth Park: The Fractured but Whole.
