Cyberpunk 2077provides many characters with a definitive ending, but there are some that have more ambiguous fates, or fates that deserve further expansion. Some characters inCyberpunk 2077laid the foundation for further stories and mysteries within Night City and beyond, so hopefully CD Projekt RED expands on these characters with their Project Orion.

With so many characters inCyberpunk 2077, it’s inevitable that a sequel will have its own cast of original characters and those from the tabletop, but there are still characters seen inCyberpunk 2077that wouldmake for great comebacksin a potential sequel to further their tales and that of the new protagonist.

jefferson perelez in cyberpunk 2077

6Jefferson Peralez

The Mayor of Night City, Controlled By Other Forces

One of the most mysterious aspects ofCyberpunk 2077comes from the political campaign of Jefferson Peralez, who is in the running to become Night City’s newest mayor. Yet, Jefferson Peralez and his wife Elizabeth are subtly being controlled and reprogrammed by a mysterious organization. Could it be Mister Blue Eyes, the Blackwall, orsomething far worse?

If Jefferson Peralez is the mayor of Night City, and players get to interact with him, then it will be extremely interesting to see how his rewired brain will shape his path in a sequel. Will he be a familiar friend, or someone who simply rules as just a puppet for darker political forces unknown?

mr. hands in his office in dogtown

5Mr. Hands

The Fixer of Dogtown and Pacifica Has Hands Everywhere

Fixers are a great source of income for Merc, and their business is certainly booming in the crime-riddled Night City. However, there is one Fixer in particular that deserves attention, and that’s Mr. Hands. Enigmatic, private, and strictly available for business, Mr. Hands is an elusive professional who seems to know everything about everyonefor leverage and gain.

Mr. Hands is a great Fixer, and with the ruckus in Dogtown, things will surely change in Mr. Hands’ favor. As such, it would be a shame not to see Mr. Hands again to see how far his influence has taken him. Will he still be a Fixer in Dogtown, or will he be at the top of the food chain?

Rogue Amendiares, a legendary solo and fixer and a skilled Netrunner in cyberpunk 2077

4Rogue Amendiares

The Afterlife’s Legendary Fixer

Rogue Amendiares might be a tadcontroversial of a characterto return due to the influence her fate has depending on each player’s ending ofCyberpunk 2077, but it’s hard to deny how empty the Afterlife club would feel without her presence there. She’s an integral character to Night City, and her reach is as vast as Arasaka in some aspects of the merc world.

Rogue is a living legend, so it would be a shame to cut her story short. There are further places to take her story and further jobs that she could task mercs with as the legendary Fixer that she is. Rogue deserves to sit back and drink the beverages of legends in the Afterlife to tell more stories of Johnny Silverhand and herself.

Cyberpunk 2077 River Ward

3River Ward

One of the Few Good Cops of Night City

River Ward has a complex relationship with Night City. He acts as its defender as one of the few good men on the police force, and as a detective, he will stop at nothing to find the truth, no matter how deep the corruption goes. Yet, in being a good egg in a jar of rotten ones, it’s inevitable that things about River start to spoil.

River was kicked off the force and forced into the industry of a private eye. After solving the case of his missing nephew at the hands of the serial killer Peter Pan, River Ward continues toserve Night Citythe rightful justice it needs, so it would be nice to see his career continue for years.

Cyberpunk 2077 Mr Blue Eyes job offer during sun ending

2Mr. Blue Eyes

The Enigmatic and Powerful Figure That Might Have Ties to the Blackwall

One of the biggest mysteries ofCyberpunk 2077involves the identity of Mr. Blue Eyes. Just who exactly is he, and why is he so involved in the shadows of the politics andlife of Night City? Whether it’s aiding Songbird, providing V with false hope, or even watching Jefferson Peralez, Mr. Blue Eyes is persistently involved in shadowy organizations.

With his eye color being that of an unnatural blue, perhaps he’s controlled by a Rogue AI, or perhaps he himself is one. Whatever Mr. Blue Eyes is, or whoever he is working for, it certainly goes deep, and his story could add to more enigmatic practices if he’s involved in the plot ofCyberpunk 2077’s sequel.

Cyberpunk 2077 Viktor Vektor

1Viktor Vektor

A Kind-Hearted Ripperdoc in Night City

Viktor Vektor is one of the few friendly faces that V meets in Night City, and he’s a man who will constantly have V’s back, regardless of how many Eurodollars they spend at his clinic. Viktor is a tad down on his luck as a compassionate Ripperdoc, and as such, his shop might end up closing down. However, it would be a real shame if that was the case, as the new protagonist of theCyberpunk 2077sequel could easily be a patron.

Having Viktor Vektor available as a Ripperdoc is a great connection from the first game, as he could tell stories of the old life, and pass down words of wisdom about some of his patients, including vague references towhatever happened to V.
