In the previous episode, it was mentioned that he got his thingy back, but, as was made clear towards the end of the episode, this might not be all that accurate after all.
Okarun will likely find out that his thingy has not returned to him fully, or, potentially, has not returned to him at all. Perhaps, his thingy is going to be a major plot device in this particular segment of the story and will drive the plot forward further in the upcoming few episodes as well. This essentially means thatfans will see a lot more of Momo Ayaseas well, who has made it her mission to help him recover it because it was because of her fault that Okarun lost it in the first place.
This also means that Momo’s grandmother will be focused on a lot more as well. She has already become a part of the main cast and, as seen in the last episode, is now here to stay, which makes all the fans very excited for what’s to come next.

Okarun Will Have To Find His Balls And More
Dandadanepisode 5 will most likely continue the quest for the Okarun’s thingy. This has been directly hinted at in the preview, and at the title of the episode itself. Clearly, his balls, or at least, one of his balls, are missing right now, which means that the quest continues. Right now, the issue surrounding his privates has become the driving force for the plot, and bizarre as that may be, the series has certainly proved to be fun for all watchers alike. In the previous episode ofDandadan, Okarun was quite sure that he retrieved his thingy. However, inDandadanepisode 5, he will realize that things aren’t quite right. It is possible that he might have to retrieve his thingy from somewhere else. It is also highly likely that Okarun’s thingy will be partially returned, and that he will have to work even harder to retrieve what’s left.

All this will be centered around the brilliant characters of the cast, which includes Momo and her grandmother. In the previous episode, Momo’s grandmother seemed adamant that Okarun does not have his thingy back.

Fans Will See The Main Cast Expand
Dandadanepisode 5 is also going to introduce fans to new characters. Right now, fans only know the three main characters of the cast.This includes Okarun himselfand, of course, the heroine of the series, Momo Ayase. Momo’s grandmother is also a main character now, and fans expect her to play a very important role in the story moving forward. But, a cast composed of just three characters is certainly a very weak one. The author knows this very well and has done well enough to introduce many side characters that will go on to lift the excitement and the intensity of the story even more.
Perhaps,Dandadanepisode 5 is going to be the point where new characters are introduced and added to the main group. In the preview, a pink-haired girl appeared, as did a small cat. These characters are going to be very interesting in Dandadan episode 5, and fans cannot wait to see what their personality is like, and at the same time, how the author incorporates them into the story. Their personalities also need to be very unique, given that fans alreadyhave two loudmouth characters in Momo and Okarun.
Perhaps, there is a need for a comedian in the group, and at the same time, someone who is very wholesome. Of course, the cat the fan saw in the preview could also be an intriguing addition, and is one that is likely going to get the attention of the fans right away, especially given how adorable it looks. The upcoming episode ofDandadanis going to be massive for these characters, but fans should not expect them to join the main cast right away.
As things stand, they need to have their characters fleshed out properly and their own character arcs being built brick by brick.
