Who Are the Serpo Aliens? Where Do They Come From?

The Serpo Aliens, a.k.a. Serpoians, come fromthe heavenly body known as the Serpo. The planet is part of a binary star system called the Zeta Reticuli, located around 39.2 light-years away in the southern constellation of Reticulum. The stars in the Zeta Reticuli system are solar analogs meaning that they are like our own sun in many ways. This could potentially be one of the reasons that the Serpo aliens eventually ended up visiting our planet.
The Serpo alien race is exclusively all-male and they use cloning technology to ensure their survival. While the process allows accurate DNA copying and safe reproduction, the technology eventually leads to stagnation. Because of this, the Serpoians have stopped evolving and have only been able to produce identical beings. Therefore, they are desperate to steal human reproductive organs probably to introduce new genetic material into their species with the hope thatit will facilitate further evolution.
While it’s unknown since when the Serpoians were on Earth for their interstellar missions, they first made international headlines after the Roswell incident. Around June or July of 1947, their extraterrestrial spacecraft presumably crashed on a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico for some inexplicable reason. The United States Army initially announced that they had procured flying discs but were quick to retract their statement. The incident was soon hushed up and it was eventually claimed that the crashed aircraft was a United States Army Air Forces balloon that was being used for a top-secret project aimed to detect proof of Soviet atomic tests.
The official explanations and statements apparently satisfied the public at the time, but independent investigators and conspiracy theorists continued to argue that it was a coverup. It turns out that the Serpoians have made a classified pact with the United States government which paved the way for Project Serpo and allowed them to establish a covert programusing their advanced technology. With the help of the surviving Serpo aliens from the Roswell incident, 12 astronauts were sent by the United States military on a study exchange to planet Serpo. Unfortunately, the ultraviolent radiation in the Zeta Reticuli system was unsafe for humans. 2 people died soon after arriving on the planet while 2 decided to stay there. The remaining 8 who returned to Earth died soon afterwards because of radiation exposure.
Although the nature of the relationship between the Serpoians and the United States government is ambiguous now, it appears that the aliens have either been given free-hand to procure human reproductive organs or are doing it secretly. It’s been around eight decades since their presence on the planet was officially documented and the alien race has failed to make any substantial progress. There could be scientific, biological, or genetic reasons that continue to hinder their ambitious evolution goals. Since it has been alluded to in the manga that the spirits defend the Earth from aliens, the Serpoian objectives have probably beenstalled by supernatural reasonsas well.
Psychological, Biological, and Physical Characteristics
The Serpo Aliens Are a Ruthless Race Willing to Go to Any Lengths to Achieve their Goals
The Serpo aliens rarely reveal their true alien form and are always disguised in their male humanoid appearances to blend in with human society. They have headlight-like crystalline eyes and slug-like head. The Serpoians possess a large mouth with prominent lips while their body is covered with patterns. The alien race possesses several biological organs/tools that are extremely important for their survival and reproduction.
Between their legs, the Serpo aliens have the reproductive tool, a cable-like organ that allows them to have coitus with human females. The tool can not only be used to steal reproductive organs but also to increase the power of the aliens. Apart from the reproductive tool, the Serpoians possess amalgamation cables and scissor tools. While the former can be used to fuse with other lifeforms the latter helps in extracting reproductive organs.
Although the Serpoians have formed a pact with the United States government andhave also welcomed astronauts to their planeton a study exchange, they are surprisingly violent and ruthless towards human beings. They are quick to label people who defend themselves from their assault as barbaric but somehow feel justified in forcefully taking someone else’s reproductive organs. Their barbarity knows no bounds as the alien race in their quest for evolution is willing to put people’s lives in threat.
The Serpo aliens are also known to exploit gig workers they hire and have lofty expectations from them. In chapter 20 of the manga, they confront Momo and Okarun to capture the latter. For this purpose, they bring a hired fighter named Peeny-Weeny to help them. The alien (not a Serpoian) puts his life on the line and fights bravely to help his clients, but even the slightest error motivates the Serpo aliens to deduct his payments. Despite knowing that he has been earning money for his son’s blood transfusion, the Serpo aliens show him no mercy. The incident reveals the true extent of the Serpoian cruelty and pettiness. Since they are an entirely cloned population,the psychological traits in a few of themare enough to draw broad conclusions. One could reasonably deduce that Serpoians are a ruthless alien race that is willing to go to any lengths to ensure their evolution, even if it means that they put other lifeforms an existential threat.
