After multiple play-tests and waves of user feedback,Behaviour Interactive Inc.has finally added theTomb Raiderchapter to the ever-popular Player-Versus-Playerhorror phenomenon,Dead By Daylight.The chapter introduces a new survivor, gaming icon Lara Croft, who will have to beat famous horror villains in chases across fog-shrouded maps and repair generators to get herself free from the entity’s sacrifices.
When survivors are leveled up enough, players will have four perk slots to add special effects to. Each unique named survivor has three personal perks that can be shared by leveling them to the maximum. For players who want to try to run a Lara Croft survivor in tricky matches to climb the competitive ranking, some perks are much better than others when paired with Lara’s unique strengths and weaknesses. 6Lithe
Reach Prestige 1 With Feng Min
Maxing outFeng Min’s level will give players access to all of her unique perks, which they can then share with every other survivor, including Lara Croft. When using Lithe, if players are evading the killer in a chase and rush through a window or over any other vaultable obstacle, they will get a short burst of intense speed. Players can pair this perk with Lara Croft’s unique Finesse perk, which makes the vaulting action even faster. Players can use a vault to shoot off into the distance and win chases across the map.
5Windows Of Opportunity

Getting Kate Denson to the maximum level will net all available survivors her perks: Boil Over, Dance With Me and Windows Of Opportunity. Using Windows Of Opportunity carefully alongside Lara Croft’s unique perk, Finesse, will again give players a handy escape from any chase that is getting too close for comfort.This perk will find and reveal windowsthat Lara can vault. This way, players can make them a priority to ensure the massive boost in speed that comes with Finesse.
4Bardic Inspiration
Reach Prestige 1 With Aestri Yazar (The Troupe)
The Troupe character, a part of theDungeons & DragonsDLC content that was added toDead By Daylightrecently, has a unique skill in the form of ‘Bardic Inspiration.’ Getting the character to Prestige 1 by maxing their bloodweb will give every character, including Lara, access to the perk.
Bardic Inspiration gives the player a prompt to perform for any survivors within 16 meters, and rolls a d20 to see what the result is. According to the roll, either skill checks are given bonus progress, or the bard will scream. Pair this with Lara’s Hardened perk, which allows her to see the killer whenever she screams. This gives her a consistent way to know where the killer is, which can make huge differences when hiding and dashing around the large maps.
3Appraisal
Reach Prestige 1 With Elodie Rakoto
Getting Elodie Rakoto’s Bloodweb to the maximum level will give every survivor access to the Appraisal skill. This can be very useful for any survivor, especially in the early levels of their Bloodweb. If players struggle to bring items into a match or use an item until it is dropped, they can search chests for items and use Appraisal to rummage for a second item to give them two chances to get something useful.
Pairing this with Lara Croft’s Specialist perk can allowfor massive increases to generator progress. Specialist gives the user a token every time a chest is looted, and another when Appraisal is used on a chest to loot it a second time. Each token is consumed when the player gets a Great skill check on a generator and gives extra repair progress.
2Plunderer’s Instinct
Find On The Bloodweb
Plunderer’s Instinct can only be found on the Bloodweb, meaning it is random. Unfortunate players may have to invest quite a lot of Bloodpoints before they get a chance to scoop it up. Using it, though, can make the Specialist perk as efficient as possible. Each chest that is looted gives a token which the player can use with the skill,so the more chests that can be looted the better. Plunderer’s Instinct will allow for chests to be sensed through walls and across large distances so that players can beeline chests to start collecting tokens to get generators online with impressive speed.
1Resilience
While Resilience can also be hard to acquire on the Bloodweb as characters level up, the perk is an easy choice for any survivor. It increases the speed of every action that leads to progression in a match as long as the player is injured. This means that, when faced with opposition from the Killer, the player can carry their team forward faster if they can stay hidden and safe.
While Lara Croft’s Finesse skill is only active while she is uninjured, the Resilience perk makes for a great combination, ensuring that Lara receives buffs both while injured and uninjured. Players can carefully choose when to heal to move faster when vaulting and strategically use both perks to rush to victory.
