There are five different versions of the Seething Opal consumable: Gold, Equipment, Materials, Socketables, and Torment. Each Seething Opal effect will grant a 15% boost to XP and grant Zakarum Remnants reputation for kills.

Each of the five Opals gives all enemies killed a chance to drop items of the Opal’s type, except for the Seething Opal of Torment. The Seething Opal of Torent will grant all enemies killed a chance to drop Artificier’s Stones, boss summoning materials, and even Infernal Compasses.

If you are farming Zakarum Rep for the Season 6 rewards, or just farming XP and materials fromrepeatable endgame content like The Pitor Nightmare Dungeons, ensure you have a Seething Opal effect active. Every Seething Opal lasts for just 30 minutes, so be sure to pack in as much monster-slaying as you’re able to within the time for max chances at rewards.
