Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred Expansionhas added the new Spiritborn class, and several Uniques specifically tailored to its abilities. As players attempt to figure out which builds will dominate the meta this season, many are hunting down these items, such as the Unique Helm Loyalty’s Mantle.
The Loyalty’s Mantle Helmet can drop in a number of places, but, like most Unique gear drops, getting this powerful item is best done through target farming a specific boss. Keep reading to learn more about target farming Loyalty’s Mantle, what it does, and which builds best utilize the item.
How To Get Loyalty’s Mantle Unique Chestpiece
Loyalty’s Mantle is a Unique Headpiece that can drop from several locations, but the best target farm is Endgame BossGrigoire, the Galvanic Saint. This is due to its prominent position on Grigoire’sBoss Loot Table, which represents a much higher drop chance than from loot goblins or chests in the Overworld.
Class locked to the Spiritborn, this Unique Item provides raw stats, movement speed, damage reduction, and - most importantly - up to 3 ranks of Velocity and heavily buffed Spirit Hall boons. For best use of this item, ensure both Spirit Hall slots have the same animal spirit selected.
Either the Tormented or standard boss summon can drop this item, although Uniques appear to drop more reliably from Tormented Bosses.
Which Builds Use Loyalty’s Mantle
Builds that use Loyalty’s Mantle typically care about the final Affix the most. This means they will have the same animal in both Spirit Hall slots. Examples of popular builds that can effectively use Loyalty’s Mantle include the Rake Thorns Build, which relies heavily on using the Spirit of the Jungle (Gorilla) in both Spirit Hall slots for survivability.
