The start of Season 6 also marked the release ofDiablo 4’s first expansion,Vessel of Hatred. This expansion gives players access to a new class, the Spiritborn, a new region, Nahantu, and more. While the release of the expansion went well, there were still some adjustments needed that this latest update addresses.
Blizzard recently released the patch notes for update 2.0.4 forDiablo 4. Building off of some changes introduced froma recent hotfix to theVessel of Hatredexpansion forDiablo 4, several adjustments have been made to the new expansion. Most notably, the mercenary Varyana has had her health reduced during her acquisition quest. Alongside this, several Nahantu-themed loading screens have been added to the game, and descriptions for Undercity of Kurast Tributes have been updated for better clarity.
Alongside the updates for theVessel of Hatredexpansion, the base game forDiablo 4has also received some sizable bug fixes. Season 6, titled the Season of Hatred Rising, received some adjustments for the loot from Radiant Chests at the end of Legion events. Alongside this,the Realmwalkers for the Season of Hatred Risinghave had their health doubled, increasing their difficulty significantly. Lastly, for the season-specific content is an update for the description for Seething Opals, which now properly explains additional loot chances for end-of-run loot.
Diablo 4’s base game also received numerous fixes for the variety of issues currently in the game.Several ofDiablo 4’s classesreceived fixes to correct current problems with their specific abilities. Alongside that, several spawning issues in quests and events have been addressed and fixed, so enemies now properly spawn as intended. To close out the patch notes for update 2.0.4 forDiablo 4, problems with several UI and UX icons not properly displaying have been fixed.
