After completingDiablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred campaign, players will start receiving tasks from Ormus collected under the heading “Deeds of a Champion.” One of those tasks instructs fans to complete the Questline “Tenents of Depravity,” though they may be confused about where to start that Questline. This guide is here to alleviate that confusion, and it will help players initiate the Tenets of Depravity quest inDiablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion.
Tenets of Depravity is a multipart side quest inDiablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion, and its starting point is marked with a blue exclamation point on the in-game map.
Diablo 4: Where to Start Tenets of Depravity Questline
The first quest in this questline is called “Tenets of Depravity: Sacrament of the Faithless,” and it is initiated by speaking with a Guard on theeast side ofKurast. For full clarity, Kurast is the city in the center ofDiablo 4’s Nahantu region, and the precise position of the guard has been marked on the following maps.
After starting Tenets of Depravity: Sacrament of the Faithless, players should track it (from the side quests section of the Journal) and head to the northwest corner of the Seven Stones area in west Nahantu. Here, fans will encounter Priest Dmitriy and collect a document, which will send them to Gea Kul in southwest Kehjistan. After tracking down the Cathedral of Light authority in this town, players will speak with Reverend Mother Prava and initiate the next part of the Tenets of Depravity questline.
That next part is called “Tenets of Depravity: An End to Suffering,” and it requiresDiablo 4playersto return to northwest Seven Stones and enter the Knight Command Quarters. Fans will do battle with the Burned Knights in those quarters, and they will receive a new quest (Tenets of Depravity: Champions to Madness) after slaying those foes and speaking with Priest Dmitriy.
To complete Tenets of Depravity: Champions of Madness, players must make their way down to the center of the Seven Stones and speak with Marzhan the Scribe. This conversation will lead to a multi-stage battle in the nearby arena, and fans will talk to Marzhan again after beating all their opponents.
This second conversation will initiate the final part of the questline: Tenets of Depravity: Scion of Blasphemies. Without question, this is the longest section of Tenets of Depravity, and it centers around clearing the Temple of Profane. Once a player has finished thatDiablo 4dungeon, they will find that the “complete the Questline Tenets of Depravity” objective within Deeds of a Champion is marked as complete, and they will then be free to pursue other tasks.
