Unfortunately, it seems like fans might have to wait a little longer to start the new expansion. Though it originally planned to releaseDiablo 4: Vessel of Hatredon October 7 at 4 PM PDT for all regions and platforms, community manager PezRadar confirmed the launch would be slightly delayed in apost on the Blizzard forum. He revealed thatDiablo 4had identified a small technical issue that got in the way of the release, and while the delay shouldn’t be long, players may have to wait a little bit to make sureVessel of Hatredcan launch on all platforms without problems.
When Will Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred Be Playable?
As of the original release time, fans will be unable to log intoDiablo 4untilVessel of Hatredfully launches. Players already logged in before then will still be able toplay onDiablo 4Patch 1.5.2for a short while, though they will eventually be booted from the server to let Blizzard prepare things forVessel of Hatred.
At press time, there is no word on exactly how long this delay will be, but PezRadar said Blizzard still expects the expansion to launch before the end of October 7. With luck, thelaunch ofDiablo 4: Vessel of Hatredwill only be delayed by an hour or two, but fans may need to be patient if it takes a little longer than that.
Despite the delayed launch, fans should still be able to start progress on theirDiablo 4: Vessel of HatredTwitch Dropsat 4 PM PDT. Players can hop into their favoriteDiablo 4content creator’s Twitch stream and pass the time by chatting with their fellow fans until the actual launch, all while working towards unlocking some awesome new cosmetic items.
