Disney Dreamlight Valley Teases Jungle Getaway Update

This release pace is now set to continue with the game’s next big update, which Gameloft just confirmed will be called Jungle Getaway. While the company did not reveal any other concrete details about the patch besides its name, it promised to do so on October 2, when its next devlog is scheduled to debut. Given how the developer has so far averaged one major content drop every two months, and considering that theDapper Delights update reachedDisney Dreamlight Valleyin late August, it is plausible that Jungle Getaway will debut circa mid-October 2024.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Jungle Getaway Star Path Teaser Leaves Fans Puzzled

Much like Dapper Delights and most of the patches that preceded it, Jungle Getaway will be a free update, Gameloft has confirmed. A few days prior to this October 2 devlog announcement, the company also teased the nextDisney Dreamlight ValleyStar Paththat’s expected to debut as part of Jungle Getaway, having done so with another one of its signature emoji sequences. And though these hints have occasionally been straightforward to (at least partially) decipher, this particular one has left fans rather puzzled. The teaser sequence in question appears to be hinting at some sort of music, sound, or festival theme. Alternatively, some fans have proposed that the Star Path will include a fireworks sound effect.

According to Gameloft’s previously shared content roadmap,Disney Dreamlight Valley’s pool of villagerswill soon expand to include Timon and Pumbaa. Both were previously promised to be arriving as part of aLion King-themed update in October 2024. That content drop and Jungle Getaway are most likely one and the same.

Given how October 31 is mere weeks away,Disney Dreamlight Valleyis also likely to receive some Halloween additions in the near future. But it remains to be seen whether these will debut as part of Jungle Getaway, which seems to be revolving around a completely different theme.
