The Lion King’s Simba and Nala came toDisney Dreamlight Valleyin April 2023, with the villainous Scar arriving six months later. Fans have been expecting Timon and Pumbaa’s introduction to the valley for a long time, and Jungle Getaway includes new friendship tasks for the famous duo scattered throughout The Lion King Realm. As revealed in previews, these tasks include introducing Pumbaa to pottery as a hobby and helping Timon overcome his erratic and overreactive nature.
With the launch of the new update, the game’sofficial websitehas been updated, providing new information on quests for the twoDisney Dreamlight Valleycharacters, like helping Timon create a critter catalog and assisting Pumbaa with “a stinky situation.” The latest website update also dives deeper into the new Star Path, The Night Show, which includes fun effects like pyrotechnics and color-changing lights. The new Star Path contains fewer items than past events as the developers gear up for some end-of-year content, as well as a shorter timeframe, so players will need to complete it by November 13. Everything New In Disney Dreamlight Valley Jungle Getaway Update
Prior to its launch, some fans of the game had already beenupset by the new Star Path in Disney Dreamlight Valley. While many fans have been excited about the concept of a Star Path centered around rock concerts, complete with a slew of furniture and clothing items that players can earn, the timing of the event during the Halloween season seems to have several players complaining that they’d have preferred a much spookier event.
However, while Jungle Getaway is the game’s big October update, the development team still hasHalloween plans forDisney Dreamlight Valleyin 2024. The Trick-or-Treat, held annually since the game was first launched in Early Access in 2022, will return for a third consecutive year, running from October 23-31. The developers had already revealed the Mickey’s Halloween Candy Bowl reward, which looks like a Mickey Mouse-themed jack-o-lantern with a pile of sweets stashed inside its smiling mouth, and players will receive a crafting recipe for it at the start of the event. While not everything has been revealed about the Halloween plans, one new item of note is that players will receive a free Evil Queen costume by visiting the premium shop.
