On the other, each banner features beloved Disney and Pixar characters that any player would want on their team. Right now, though, the biggest challenge is deciding whether to invest inDisney Pixel RPG’s notorious Maleficent or its lovely Aurora, as these two three-star characters are the current featured banners.
While choosing characters to pull for is largely a matter of personal preference in mostGacha games, there are specific details about each unit that can help you determine the right character for your team. This guide aims to evaluate which character—Aurora or Maleficent—is worth the resources you invest to unlock them by examining their stats, skills, and overall performance within the team.
Should You Pull for Aurora or Maleficent?
Pulling for Maleficent in the first featured banner is a smart choice. She has an AoE ability that is particularly useful for clearing early-game Battle Stages. Essentially, Maleficent can deal damage to all enemies on the board, allowing you to defeat normal Mimics more quickly and accelerate your story progression.
However, if you’re looking for a solid unit for boss fights and one-on-one combat, Aurora is the better choice. She wields the Orange Striker, which deals heavy damage to a single enemy, making her highly effective against bosses.
Players who pre-registered for the game receive 8,000 Blue Crystals as a reward. If you qualify for this gift, be sure to collect it from the in-game mailbox and use it to pull for your favorite featured character. Keep in mind that every ten Gacha pulls costs 3,000 Blue Crystals, so the pre-registration rewards give you a total of twenty chances to pull.

Aurora and Maleficent have identical stats, meaning there’s no starter advantage regarding HP, ATK, or DEF. The key difference lies in their Skill Sets. Aurora wields the Orange Striker, dealing significant damage to a single enemy, while Maleficent has an Area Attack ability that targets all enemies on the board, dealing AoE damage.
you may customize a character’s Abilities in the Upgrade Menu using Customization Seeds. However, this feature only unlocks after you complete Battle Stage 3-18.
How to Guarantee Getting Aurora or Maleficent
As ofDisney Pixel RPG’s release, the featured banners for Aurora and Maleficent are in rate-up mode, providing a great opportunity to obtain either—or both—of them using Crystals. To guarantee getting Aurora or Maleficent, you’ll need to pull 50 times on their banner. This will earn you Exchange Points, which you can exchange for your desired character.
The Exchange Shop is located at the bottom of the featured banners. Keep in mind that your points are character-exclusive; if you want to get Aurora, for example, you’ll need to pull on her exclusive banner until you earn 50 Exchange Points.
