Summary

Dr Disrespect’s fans have donated over $20,000 to the famous ex-Twitchcontent creator after he was demonetized from YouTube. Dr Disrespect’s YouTube channel was demonetized after the reasons for the streamer’sTwitchban surfaced, but it seems that some people in the streamer’s fanbase have found other ways to support him.

Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV, also known as Dr Disrespect, was permanently banned from Twitch in 2020, and the motives for the ban remained a secret for years. However, former Twitch staff member Cody Conners claimed thereason for Dr Disrespect’s Twitch banwas for messages with a minor using the platform. Disrespect admitted to exchanging messages that “sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate.” In the aftermath of the accusations, Dr Disrespect was affected in several ways.

One way in which the streamer was affected by the controversy was withthe demonetization of the Dr Disrespect YouTube channel. However, it does not seem that the controversial streamer lacks funds, as he has gained over $20,000 from fans via tips in October. According toDr Disrespect’s Streamlabs tip page, the streamer received one donation of $5,000 from BuckSteelman, two donations of over $4,000 from Habibi, one of nearly $3,000 from IronMaK, and others. Considering all the tips that appear in the Top Tippers section, he earned more than $20,000 in a single month. Considering how many people could be donating tips under $250 and don’t appear on the list, it’s likely that the total amount is much bigger than what can be seen on the page.

Fans Have Recently Donated Over $20,000 to Dr Disrespect

Despite still clearly being a popular content creator with loyal fans, the future of Dr Disrespect’s YouTube channel remains uncertain.YouTube recently denied Dr Disrespect’s appeal to monetize the channel, and he won’t be able to apply again for 60 days. Curiously, the normal period after rejection is either 30 or 90 days, which makes the streamer’s situation somewhat unique when compared to other participants of YouTube’s Partner Program.
