Ahead of Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft’s launch ofDragon Ball: Sparking Zero, a full list of trophies and achievements for the game has appeared online.Dragon Ball: Sparking Zerois the long-awaited fourth entry in the belovedBudokai Tenkaichiseries. Much like past games,Sparking Zerocontains a huge roster of fighters from acrossDragon Ball’s history, ranging from the popular picks like Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan, to the relatively obscure but still loved Frieza Soldier, Ginyu Force, Android 13, and Dyspo, among many others.
Not only doesDragon Ball: Sparking Zerofeature a 181 character roster to play around with in multiplayer, but it also has an expansive single player campaign.Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s story modetakes the player through the original series' plot and also features a number of “What If” storylines that can be triggered based on the actions taken throughout the story. A few days beforeSparking Zero’s early access launch, the game’s trophy/achievement list was posted online, giving fans an idea of what to expect and what modes are available in-game.
Based ona list posted to PowerPyx,Dragon Ball: Sparking Zerowill have 50 trophies to obtain, with one Platinum, two Golds, 11 Silvers, and 36 Bronzes in total. 22 of these trophies are obtained automatically by playing through the game’s Episode Battles mode, which are all story-related. There are also a few trophies tied to unlocking the fighters ofDragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s enormous roster, meaning every character won’t be available at the start of the game.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Achievement/Trophy List
Some of the trophies in this list are tied toDragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s online multiplayer, with the player needing to fight in three and then 100 online battles. However, players don’t need to win all of them to get these two achievements. Other achievements in this game might require a lot of playtime, such as earning a total of 1,000,000 Zeni and spending that total amount, or obtaining different ability items.
Another achievement requires the player to summon Shenron, Porunga, and Super Shenron from the Dragon Balls and make a wish on each one, along with winning one of the five tournaments available in-game. While thefirst threeDragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichigamesdidn’t have achievements, Spike Chunsoft’s successor series, theRaging Blastduology, did. BothRaging BlastandRaging Blast 2had trophy lists that contained 50 achievements, which required the player to win a tournament or unlock all the characters. As such,Sparking Zero’s achievements are relatively standard.
