Bandai Namco has confirmed that Custom Battles using mods run the risk of being banned.

According to the announcement, the support team will be unable to “address any issues or appeals” for players who are caught usingDragon Ball: Sparking Zeromods. Because of this, Bandai Namco recommends deleting the modded Custom Battles immediately to avoid unnecessary bans. This announcement offers players some time to remove their Custom Battles and avoid a ban. While the tweet warns players to delete these Custom Battles immediately, it’s unclear when the mod ban wave may take place, and it could be as early as tomorrow.
Some Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Mods May Result in a Ban
Due to the tweet mentioning that any mod system involved in players’Dragon Ball: Sparking ZeroCustom Battlescould result in a ban, this may affect some players using modded characters in the game mode. Players who use character costumes like Chi Chi, Gohan Black, andDragon Ball SuperTrunks can also be banned in Ranked mode, which limits their gameplay options.
