Summary
Speed is not everything inEA Sports FC 25, but it is a key factor to consider when acquiring new players. While it is different from one squad to the other, most players usually consider Pace, Shooting, and Dribbling as three important factors when buying new players, especially if they are not defenders.
Having a player with a top-notch pace does mean they will be quick at transitioning the ball from one side of the pitch to the other, but if the pace is not accompanied by decent dribbling and physical ratings, then the player will not have much success with holding possession of the ball. However, it is still interesting to find out what players offer the highest pace in the game.
Updated on Jun 13, 2025, by Mehrdad Khayyat:After a short break during the Holidays, the football season is back again and it’s already halfway through. This means EA Sports FC 25 players have also achieved significant accomplishments so far towards their desired squad.
That being said, there is always room for improvement, especially if it’s supposed to help the team with faster counter-attacks. Pace is one of the important factors for every player who has to run a lot back and forth, especially at the wide positions of the pitch.
23Rafa
Pace: 93
Rafa is a great option to consider for the growing squads. The player comes with a superb Pace accompanied by an impressive Dribbling score and decent Shoot and Pass ratings overall. His Portugal nationality helps a lot with having him in the team for a longer period. Great Portuguese players are available in all top-notch leagues around the globe.
Rafa’s only weakness is his Physics which has a sub-mediocre score of 54. Although this is normal for small players, a CAM will have to deal with a lot of defensive players in the middle of the field, and this could lead to losing the ball more often in 1v1 battles.
22Couhaib Driouech
Even if someone is recreating the PSV Eindhoven squad, they might not consider Driouech as a candidate due to his weak stats overall, but when looking at the pace alone, he might come in handy in certain situations.
The problem with Driouech is that he doesn’t have a good Shoot or Pass rating. So, he will not be able to do much with the ball even if manages to get behind the defensive line. That being said, applying some Evolutions on him could increase the player’s attacking capabilities, as he already has a decent Physics score.
21Christian Conteh
Although having a high pace is quite important for a winger, at the end of the day, it’s not enough on its own. The pace will help the player run along the edges, but what’s next? Thankfully, Christian Conteh comes with a decent Dribbling rating that helps him cut inside the penalty area, but he is unlikely to score on his own.
Having a Shoot rating of 51 is almost a disaster for a winger, and it clearly means Conteh is not a good option to shoot either inside or outside the box, but he has the same rating for Pass too. That’s why Conteh might not be an ideal pick even for the low-level squads.
20Sirlord Conteh
Not a great option for even mid-level squads, of course, but Sirlord Conteh can help players earlier in their Ultimate Team career. The only thing notable about Conteh is his eye-catching Pace, as the player has mediocre ratings in all other stats.
The fact that he is German and plays in the Bundesliga can help with some of the SBCs, but overall, he wouldn’t even be a substitute option once the main squad is developed enough to consider players with overall ratings of above 80.
19Federico Chiesa
After shining for Juventus inSerie Afor a few years, Federico Chiesa decided to start a new adventure in the Premier League with Liverpool, and he is a viable option for any player looking to build a squad based on top-tier English clubs.
With an overall of 84, Chiesa is a great winger for anyone who favors Pace over other stats. Chiesa is also reliable for taking long shots even outside the penalty area. This allows the Italian winger to cut inside or make a wide run towards the middle and try his luck with a long shot.
18Trent Buhagiar
Trent Buhagiar is not a player to invest in, but for those who taking the early steps in the Ultimate Team, an agile striker could be beneficial even if the shooting or dribbling skills are mediocre.
Buhagiar could be a good fit for teams based on Italy’s Serie B, but he will eventually turn into a SBC option once the squad has developed enough to put the Bronze players aside. Buhagiar is probably an example of the fact that Pace is not everything.
17Sheraldo Becker
Becker is an agile striker who is a good fit for La Liga-oriented squads. He is fast enough to run behind the opponent’s last defense line. Thankfully, Becker also has a decent finishing stat, which allows him to have a higher chance of scoring in 1v1 situations.
That being said, Becker is not that good at scoring headers. Despite having a great Jumping stat, his heading accuracy is not good enough to make him a jack of all trades in the offensive line.
16Mohamed Amoura
Similar to Becker, Amoura is also a viable option on the offensive line for mid-level squads. While he is better than Becker at performing defensive tasks and shooting, the Algerian striker is not reliable on crosses and scoring with a header.
Amoura could be a good substitute option for any squad, but as the player progresses more in the Ultimate Team, he will eventually end up in an SBC trade, especially knowing that he is a Bundesliga player and can come in handy for completing SBCs for German players.
15Muteb Al Harbi
Transferred from rival side Al-Shabab to Al-Hilal this season, Muteb Al-Harbi is thefastest playerin the Saudi Arabian league and also one of the fastest left backs overall inEA Sports FC 25. For those who are looking just for pace, Al-Harbi could be an easy steal at a really low price.
Regarding the other stats, however, the players shouldn’t expect much from Al-Harbi. Despite having a pace of 93, all his other stats are below 70, and some are even below 60, which doesn’t make Al-Harbi a solid defensive player, unless for those who want to recreate the current squad of Al-Hilal.
14Inaki Williams
Pace: 94
Despite raising a lot of interest in the transfer market throughout the years, Inaki Williams has remained loyal to Athletic Bilbao and he is still one of the fastest players inLa Liga. As a wide midfielder, Williams' speed could help a lot of squads to have a fast piston on the right for attacking scenarios.
Next to his top-notch pace, Williams also has a high Physical stat, which helps him beat the defenders coming his way in 1v1 battles. This is a big plus for Williams compared to faster players like Vini Jr or Adeyemi, as they are quite easy to counter when opposed to more than one defender.
