Summary
Throne and Libertyfeatures a wide range of weapon builds made up ofthe game’s seven types of weapons. Some of these can be a real testament to skill in mastering, while others will be a much easier affair. An easy-to-learn class will beperfect for newcomersto the game.
Some players may expect more challenging builds to be the ones that will dominate the later parts of the game, but it’s actually the opposite. Some of the easiest builds in the game allow players to truly dominate their opponents — in both PvE and PvP settings.
1Darkblighter
Wand + Dagger
Darkblighter is a great choice for players who want to be mobile and comes with plenty of ways to get out of trouble. While being able to look out for one’s self, players can provide plenty of support for their allies, and provide crowd control effects while everyone does not need assistance.
This build also offers some decent area of effect damage for when enemies are all close together. This class is not great at taking on bosses, so it is one that players will want to use in a group of allies.
2Templar
Wand + Sword and Shield
A Templar has amazing defenses, and puttingpoints into the right Statwill cause it to be even more tanky. Having access to Wand and Tome means they will also be able to provide support and crowd control just like a Darkblighter.
No matter the situation, this build will be the tankiest support that any player can put together, but with low damage numbers, it is best kept as a backrow party member focused on support.
3Disciple
Staff + Sword and Shield
Disciple is another class that makes use of the Sword & Shield. Having the Sword and Shield as one of theweapons a player swaps betweenwill always spike their defenses. This build does not feature many escape options and suffers from poor mobility, so it’s a very good thing it can take a hit.
This means players should take this build directly to the frontlines rather than try to play it with the agility of a DPS build.
4Sentinel
Greatsword + Staff
Sentinels are a great choice for melee attackers. The Greatsword has a lot to offer, in that it will make players deal out a lot of damage up close while also raising their survivability as a frontliner. Players will be able to close the distance quickly and deal out massive amounts of damage in a small amount of time.
This is great against mobs, but even better when squared off against a single target. The Greatsword pairs well with other melee-focused weapons, with a really popular build being theGreatsword & Daggers.
5Outrider
Greatsword + Crossbow
Outriders are another class that can contribute a large amount of damage in a short window of time, and havingaccess to Crossbow Skillswill allow it to be a very adaptive choice. This is great for players who want many different ways to play a single character.
However, this is not the tankiest of builds, so players will want to be mindful of just how glassy they are. They should mix their ranged and melee options to ensure foes are taken out before they are.
6Raider
Crossbow + Sword and Shield
An amazing choice for being able to deal a lot of damage while being incredibly tanky is to play a Raider. Raiders will have a lot of defense from theirSword and Shield skillsto survive anything that targets them from afar while being able to return even higher amounts of damage.
This pairing does not have a lot of escape options, so players will always want a clear path they can backpedal to prevent getting surrounded. Even though this build is tanky, it can be taken out if overwhelmed by a large group of enemies.
7Ranger
Greatsword + Longbow
The Longbow provides many self-sustaining and healing options. This lets a mana-hungry weapon like the Greatsword keep going when it is close to finishing off the last enemies. This build is also capable of large damage numbers against a single target in a short amount of time, making it great for single targets.
This build does not do very well in PvE but shines in PvP. Plates who prefer PvP content will mostly play PvE to progress this build so they can enjoy the other game modes.
8Infiltrator
Longbow + Dagger
This is a very mobile build that will have no trouble staying alive so long as it keeps moving. Players will always want some mana to escape a bad situation and can use the Longbow to get this mana at a moment’s notice.
It is rather glassy, so plates will always want to be out of damage and attacking from afar while gaining the critical hitbenefits of Daggers. Players can use this to help clear dungeons at a fast pace and drop weakened enemies in PvP from a distance.
9Scout
Longbow + Crossbow
Scouts are one of the most glassy options on this list and lack the mobility that daggers bring. Players will need to know the routes they plan to use in great detail. However, they will be able to utterly shred through targets thanks to large damage numbers from continuous attacks combined with the self-sustainment provided by their Longbow.
This class will mostly be standing still for optimal damage output, so having allies soaking up all the aggro can allow for one of the best-balanced teams toovercome dungeons.
10Crusader
Greatsword + Sword and Shield
The Crusader is arguably the best tank in the entire game. Both the Sword and Shield and Greatsword offer increased survivability, but the Greatsword offers abilities that let it close the gap, crowd control, and deal out massive damage numbers to both mobs and single targets alike.
This build shines in every aspect of the gameand is one of the easiest to play. Beginners can pick up this class and then take this build to the peak of any game mode they choose.
