Afterdefeating the final bossand wrapping up Vivan’s Story inFear the Spotlight, players can start Amy’s Story to witness her side of events. While the game starts the same as Amy’s Story, with both characters in the library, the events make a massive shift after the Planchette goes wrong.

Of course, like before, you’ll still have to solve puzzles to progress through the levels, but the tools that Amy uses drastically differ from what you used with Vivian. The puzzles are pretty challenging with Amy, and in this guide, we’ll help you solve the one involving the clay statues you’ll find in the backyard garden of Amy’s house.

Garden Statue Puzzle Solution in Fear the Spotlight

After the events of the Planchette and some exploration of the transformed Sunnyside High, players will find themselves in Amy’s childhood home. But as Amy exclaims, there’s something sinister afoot, and the main door is barred with a weird lock and a slot for a Star and a Moon Medallion.

Eventually, you’ll arrive at the house’s backyard garden through the living room, where you’ll find the Garden Statue puzzle. But before you can solve it, you’ll have to get your hands on a key item you’ll use throughout your journey.

How to Find the Hammer

You’ll find the Hammer in the same backyard garden with all the statues inside the Tool Shed. But you’ll see a weird-looking lock on the door that you can’t unlock with your Lockpick. Go around the right side of the Tool Shed and look through the crack on the side. You’ll see the Toolbox sitting on a table. But more importantly, you’ll find the same lock with markings showing you the path you’ll have to take to unlock it.

We’ve marked the solution to the Tool Shed puzzle in the image to make things easier.

Now head around to the front of the Tool Shed and unlock it following the path. Unlock the Toolbox using your Lockpick and pick up the Hammer.

Solving the Garden Statue Puzzle

With the Hammer picked up, head back to the Garden Statues and read the placards in the middle row. You’ll have to break the statues in the order mentioned in the poem.

Don’t worry if you make a mistake when breaking the statues. They’ll come back soon enough.

After breaking all the statutes in the correct order, you’ll be left with only one statue in the middle position. It will then transform into the Dirty Saints Statue, which you can pick up.

Cleaning the Dirty Saints Statue

The Saints Statue that you found after solving the Garden Puzzle can’t be used in the Prayer Alter just yet. You still need to clean it. However, before you can do that, you’ll need to restore the water supply to the house.

Go back through the sliding door and head right. Use the Hammer to pry open the boards and enter the Kitchen. Pick up the Wrench on the table and return to the living room. Take the door down to the Basement and head towards the Water Valve. The handle is missing, but you can now use the Wrench to turn it and restore the water connection. Head back to the Kitchen and turn on the faucet in the sink. Use your Dirty Saints Statue to clean it.
