Final Fantasy 14has brought back its Free Login Campaign, allowing players with lapsed subscriptions to return to the game for four days during the play period. From now until October 31, fans who currently have inactiveFinal Fantasy 14accounts can return to Eorzea for a limited time, provided they qualify for the campaign.
The Free Login Campaign is a reoccurring event inFinal Fantasy 14that usually runs a couple of times a year.Final Fantasy 14last held this event in the months leading up to the release ofDawntrailin July to help prepare players for the expansion’s launch.
Now,Final Fantasy 14is bringing back the Free Login Campaign once again. Until October 31,players with inactive subscriptions can log intoFinal Fantasy 14and play for up to four days. There are no special steps needed to begin this campaign. So long as they ownFinal Fantasy 14, and their account has been inactive for at least 30 days, eligible fans should be able to log in through the client and begin their free play time.
There are a few things eligible fans should consider before beginning their Free Login Campaign, however. Their free play time ends at 11:59 PM PDT on the fourth day, meaning the earlier players log in on the first day, the more they get out of the campaign. Additionally, buying a subscription partway through their free playtime disqualifies them from the rest of the campaign, so fans who plan to keep playing afterward should renew their subs once their days are over so they can reap the full benefit of the event. Additionally, players who don’t own the game can’t participate, though they can playFinal Fantasy 14’s nearly-unlimited free trialinstead.
Now is a great time to capitalize on this free playtime. The Moogle Treasure Trove is back inFinal Fantasy 14until the launch of Patch 7.1 in mid-November, and the All Saints’ Wake Halloween event runs from October 18 through November 4. TheFall Guyscollaboration also returns toFinal Fantasy 14on October 23, so players who wait for the last week of the Free Login Campaign can participate in all three of these events at once.
