Summary
Fortnitehas shared that it will no longer renew Survivor Medal Quests once Chapter 6 starts. To complete the Battle Pass inFortnite, players need to reach level 100 before the end of the season. However, those who strive to go even further can try to claim all Quest Rewards and Bonus Rewards, which are additional Battle Pass reward pages that can be unlocked by completing Weekly Quests and earning lots of XP - going way beyond level 100.
Players who want to get through the Bonus Rewards page andunlock all Super Styles inFortnitemust play nearly every day of the season and complete as many quests as possible. This includes event quests that may pop up and season quests, such as Survivor Medal Quests, Milestone Quests, Kickstart Quests, and Story Quests. These are quests that are renewed and can be redone every season.
Quests are one of thebest XP sources inFortnite, especially since many players who purchase the Battle Pass stick to Battle Royale, and therefore only gain experience through matches, accolades, and quests. Unfortunately, Epic Games has confirmed that it is taking down Survivor Medal Quests once Chapter 5 Season 4 comes to an end. It would make sense for these quests to be unavailable temporarily since the next season will be Season 2 of OG Fortnite, but gamers expected them to come back once the new chapter came along.
When Will Survivor Medal Quests Be Discontinued?
Over the past few seasons,Fortnitehas modified the number of season quests it releases and the amount of XP it grants upon completion. This has angered some fans, as these numbers usually go down, making it harder to reach level 139 andunlock all V-Bucks in theFortniteBattle Pass. It may not seem like it, since each stage only grants 10,000 XP, but Survivor Medal Quests grant a decent chunk of XP. Gamers must go through 70 stages to reach Mythic 1 and complete the quests, which means that they can receive a total of 700,000 XP from Survivor Medal Quests inFortnite- almost nine account levels.
On top of this, players get access to the Prized Llama back bling when they participate in the Survivor Medal Quests. As they increase their Survivor Medal, they will unlock additional styles for it to reflect the player’s current rank. It is currently unknown if players will be able to keep thePrized Llama back bling inFortniteor keep any of its styles. Since Survivor Medal Quests have been around for so long, gamers will surely have reached different ranks throughout the seasons, which has caused the community to question if they will receive a style matching the highest rank they’ve obtained, all styles, or their last unlocked rank.
