In a new post on theFortnitesubreddit, user MrBee_55 highlights the underrated item in the game. Posting a picture of the Contrails available in the Item Shop, the user points out that there are only a few Contrails available in the Item Shop currently, which doesn’t give players many options to choose from. On the other hand, when it comes to other cosmetics such as Outfits andBackblings inFortnite, there are plenty of options available to players.
Fortnite Fans Debate Why Contrails Are Not Popular
Over on Reddit, fans have been debating why Epic Games doesn’t focus much on Contrails. Some believe that Contrails don’t have much utility, considering they can be seen only for a few seconds during the initial phase of the game. As a result, Epic Games likely focuses on releasing a few good designs every season and does not stress too much about it. On the other hand, some players believe that Contrails don’t sell as well as othercosmetics inFortnite, so they aren’t Epic Games' primary focus right now.
While a lack of Contrails in the Item Shop is a valid concern, many noted that there are five new Contrails players can obtain from theFortniteBattle Pass every season. However, some long-term players added that the Battle Pass Contrails usually only go well with the skin they are designed for, and their theme makes it quite difficult to pair with other skins. Another interesting suggestion, which many others also seem to agree with, is having a basic Contrail pack with a variety of colors, so players get more flexibility to match them with their outfits.
