In a post on Reddit, user NEF293 has showcased to the community their overwhelming district inFrostpunk 2’s Utopia builder modeand how they managed to cram one million people into the game’s Horizon City map. NEF293 expressed that they were able to do this colossal task with the help of members from the 11 Bit Studios' Discord community, who came together to help utilize all the game-breaking knowledge they had forFrostpunk 2. In NEF’sYouTube video, the ambitious player explains that the entire process took hours of work, mostly due to having to wait for the population to grow until it was stable enough to sustain such a massive city.

In the thread, NEF293 said that they focused on adaptation and reason cornerstones to ensure that his city could cope with extreme cold. Other methods include some ofFrostpunk 2’s laws, like Mandatory Crowding, Dense Housing and Crate Schemes to maximize shelter, but even with this implemented, his city was still sitting at -3k shelter, which means quite a lot of citizens were left out in the harsh weather. Comments from other Redditorsexpressed their shock and surprise at such a bold yet amazing endeavor to undertake. Being able to sustain such an immense city inFrostpunk 2is incredibly impressive, but for most players, the method of trying to do this would probably end up crashing the game.
