An interestingGenshin Impactleak has revealed more information about the characters that will be featured on Version 5.2 banners. EveryGenshin Impactupdate is divided into two banner cycles, each of which contains a set of limited characters available for approximately three weeks.
The ongoing second double banner for update 5.0 featuresGenshin Impact’s new Dendro character Kinich and the famous Inazuma Archon, Raiden Shogun. Developer HoYoverse has already confirmed the four limited five-star characters that will appear in update 5.1.
Even though update 5.1 has yet to officially arrive on the live servers, a new set of leaks has been hinting at which playable characters will be obtainable duringGenshin Impactupdate 5.2. According to aposton theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit, update 5.2 will feature two new characters, Chasca and Ororon, who have already appeared during the Natlan storyline. Chasca is expected to be a new five-star character, while Ororon is expected to have a lower four-star rarity. This means that 5.2 will probably feature three character reruns, just like the current 5.1 update. According to the leak, Chasca will be joined by three older Mondstadt characters: Albedo, Klee, and Venti.
Genshin Impact Leak Hints at 5.2 Banner Characters
Similar to many Natlan characters, Chasca made her first appearance inGenshin Impact’s teaser video titled “A Name Forged in Flames,” and has made multiple in-game appearances since then, confirming that she is an Anemo user. Recent leaks have revealed that Chasca will have an interesting gun mechanic tied to her Nightsoul points. Chasca will also reportedly have the ability to hover in the air, similar to anotherGenshin ImpactAnemo user, the fan-favorite Wanderer.
At the moment, there is not much information about Ororon, other than his ties with Capitano, the current main antagonist in the Pyro nation. An interestingfan-made theory inGenshin Impactsuggests that Ororon could be another Fatui Harbinger. However, one of the main arguments against this theory is the rumor that Ororon will be a four-star unit, whereas all previous Harbingers added to the roster have had five-star rarity.
Many fans in the comment section claim they will be surprised if HoYoverse decides to include three Mondstadt characters on a double banner. Out of the three, Venti has the highest probability of being featured, as HoYoverse will most likely continue its pattern of including aGenshin ImpactArchonin every update after a new major region arrives.
