His appearance was officially revealed in thepopularGenshin Impactpromo video, “A Name Forged in Flames.” Since there is not much official information about this mysterious character, fans have developed multiple theories about his role in the upcoming storyline. An interesting post by Reddit user Educational-Grab9774 has gained a lot of attention in the community. The post compares Ororon with two previously released Fatui Harbingers, Tartaglia and Arlecchino, and points out that all three have silver Vision frames. Many fans in the comment section believe that he will most likely be revealed as the 10th Fatui Harbinger.
Genshin Impact: Could Ororon Be a Fatui Harbinger?
The Harbingers are known as extremely powerful, high-ranking officers who work for the Fatui organization, which is led by the Cryo Archon, Tsaritsa. Even though many fans expected Capitano, Natlan’s main villain so far, to be the next Harbinger to join the playable roster,recentGenshin Impactleakssuggest that he won’t become a playable unit during the Pyro nation arc.
Many believe that Hoyoverse will probably continue its trend of addingGenshin ImpactHarbingersto the roster in every new major region, meaning that Ororon could take Capitano’s place. Another popular theory claims that, based on the famous Fatui Constellation Wheel, Ororon could represent the symbol known as the Shaman’s Hand, a popular Native American symbol that represents protection and healing.
Further evidence supporting this theory is that, in one of the recent trailers, the glove on Ororon’s hand features a very similar symbol to the Shaman’s Hand. This has led many fans to believe that Ororon could be a newElectro healer inGenshin Impact. However, to get more concrete information about this character, players will likely have to wait for Natlan’s story to progress, which is expected to happen in a couple of weeks when Version 5.1 arrives.
