Echoes of Wisdom: Ready Set Goron Quest Guide

The young Goron will thank Zelda for saving him from the rift. And to get back in good spirits, he wants to race Zelda. The path will begin near theentrance of the Eldin Dungeon, and there will be arrows on the floor pointing you towards the finish line, which happens to be ared flagpole.

There’s some lava, enemies, and other hazards to look out for while traveling on the path, but the first tip to beating the Goron in the race is to not worry about the arrows at all.

You should be summoning Echoes to create shortcuts to the finish line. There’s not much to it, but, in the images below, you can see that we only used two Echoes to get past the Goron.

First, use the Water block Echo at the first cliff leading up to the path with the golems and magma on the floor. Once you’re up there, head left towards the ramp and dodge them using the R button. No need to fight them at all.

Then, once you reach the wooden sign at the top of the ramp, bust out your Flying Tile Echo and aim it northwest toward the flag pole/finish line.

The reward for completing the Ready Set Goron side quest inEchoes of Wisdomis 50 Rupees.
