How To Unlock The Archer In Halls Of Torment
The Archer is the second hero you can acquire inHalls of Torment. To obtain the Archer, you need to complete theCavern Survivor I quest, which requires you to survive in the Haunted Caverns until there are only 26 minutes left in the run. Simply survive for four minutes in the Haunted Caverns to unlock the Archer.
The Archer uses a bow to fire three projectiles at enemies. He offers the highest Critical Rate of all the heroes and has impressive movement speed to help you breeze through hordes of the undead.
How To Unlock The Cleric In Halls Of Torment
The Cleric is a magic hero wielding a Holy Scepter inHalls of Torment. You can unlock the Cleric bydefeating the Lich in the Haunted Caverns. This boss will spawn when there are only 8 minutes remaining in the stage. The Cleric has a special ability to apply Fragile and Affliction debuffs to enemies, causing them to take extra damage.
How To Unlock The Exterminator In Halls Of Torment
What better way to fight the horrors of hell than by burning them to death? The Exterminator wields a Flame Caster that spits flames and can inflict the Burn effect on enemies. To unlock the Exterminator, you mustkill 1,000 enemies in a single visit to the Ember Grounds.
If Ember Grounds is still locked, defeat theImp Chieftain, the first boss of the Haunted Caverns, who spawns when 24 minutes remain in the run.
How To Unlock The Warlock In Halls Of Torment
You can unlock the Warlock bydefeating the Wyrm Queen boss in Ember Grounds. She is summoned when the remaining time hits 5:50. The Wyrm Queen can be a challenging boss due to her large size and the swarms of enemies fighting alongside her. Apowerful single-target Traitlike Flame Strike can quickly shred her health bar.
How To Unlock The Sorceress In Halls Of Torment
The Sorceress can be unlocked bykilling 10,000 enemies in a single run of the Forgotten Viaduct. This hall becomes available after you have killed theWraith Lordin the Ember Grounds. The Sorceress uses Chain Lightning attacks to hit multiple enemies at once and has a chance to inflict Spark, dealing damage over time.
How To Unlock The Shield Maiden In Halls Of Torment
Parrying is one of the many mechanicsinHalls of Torment, and the Shield Maiden excels at it, as her title suggests. She wields aWar Hammer and a Shield. Normally, she uses her War Hammer for AOE attacks, while her Shield comes in handy when enemies approach too close.
To unlock the Shield Maiden, you mustdefeat the Wraith Horseman in the Forgotten Viaduct. This is the first boss you will face in the Forgotten Viaduct and will appear once you have survived for nearly six minutes in this hall.
How To Unlock The Beast Huntress In Halls Of Torment
The Beast Huntress is the reward fordefeating the Basilisk boss in the Frozen Depths. The Basilisk is summoned when the remaining time reaches 24 minutes in the Frozen Depths hall.
If you haven’t unlocked the Frozen Depths, defeat the Frost Knight boss to unlock the new hall.
The Beast Huntress is one of the few heroes with a summon. While you’re able to use Traits to summon creatures, the Beast Huntress starts out with aHound summonthat follows her around. She also uses a throwable spear with a decent chance of applying Frost to enemies.
How To Unlock The Norseman In Halls Of Torment
The Norseman is an elemental herounlocked after defeating the Elder Giant, the final boss of theFrozen Depthshall. He is the “Master of Ice Attacks,” wielding dual axes. By using his melee attacks, the Norseman charges up hisFrost Novaattack, which freezes enemies instantly but deals no damage.
How To Unlock The Landsknecht In Halls Of Torment
After you have defeated the Twisted Construct boss in the Frozen Depths, you will unlock the 5th stage ofHalls of Torment— theChambers of Dissonance. This stage is home to some of the strongest enemies in the game, but if yousurvive for 18 minutes, you can unlock the Landsknecht — a powerful projectile-based hero. She fires her Arquebus for strong single-target DPS, while her Grenades deal explosive AOE damage.
How To Unlock The Sage In Halls Of Torment
The Sage is thefinal unlockable characterinHalls of Torment. After you have defeated the final boss, you will unlock The Vault, the sixth and final stage. The Vault featuresAgony Mode, where all monsters are scaled up to deal more damage and have higher health pools, but players are rewarded with high-quality loot.
If yousurvive The Vault until the final boss appears after 30 minutes, you will unlock the Sage — a character capable of wielding multiple types of attacks. Depending on the ability you pick at the start of a hall, the Sage will adapt their attack accordingly.
