Summary

Choosing the right blessing when playing through Divergent Universe can largely affect how players approach a run, especially on higher difficulties. No matter what team players are using, there are blessings that fit any kind of team.

Among these blessings are the powerful 3-star blessings. There are 3 of them in every path, with there being9 paths in total. 3 Star blessings are typically acquired at the end of the 3 bosses and although players are only given 3 to choose from at a time, many blessings in general can benefit different teams regardless of which path. This list will include at least 1 blessing from each path for the sake of emphasizing that there are many ways players can approach this mode.

Honkai: Star Rail Aeon Hunt

10Radiant Supreme

Path Of Hunt

This blessing performs excellently on lower difficulty levels as enemies are easier to kill, making it easier to achieve the effects of the blessing. On higher difficulty, it loses much of its value since enemies come with extremely high HP values. Regardless, this might still be better than other 3-star options as any team can benefit from it.

Being a Hunt blessing, Hunt units will obviously be able to make good use of it as itgives them extra turnsto defeat multiple enemies in one go. AOE units will also have no problems using this but killing multiple enemies at once will only grant the character one extra turn unless they defeat another enemy on that extra turn.

Honkai: Star Rail Aeon Elation

9Vineyard: Against The Night

Path Of Elation

This blessing can only be used by characters that are able to launch follow-up attacks. Aftertaste is a source of extra follow-up attacks that can be obtained typically through Elation blessings and is the bread and butter of Divergent Universe runs using a follow-up team as it’s the only way to be able to deal enough damage to kill enemies on higher difficulties.

Due to this effect of this blessing scaling off of the character’s ATK, players can look out for any blessings that can increase ATK to achieve higher amounts of damage.

Honkai: Star Rail Aeon Nihility

8Funeral Of Sensory Pursuivant

Path Of Nihility

This one allows characters to apply the Suspicion debuff to enemies and similar to the Elation blessing, this one is instead the bread and butter for any DoT Divergent Universe runs. Suspicion increases DoT damage taken by enemies by 1% per stack, up to a maximum of 99 stacks.

Character options for DoT teams are limited and most likely wouldconsist of Kafka. Suspicion works extremely well with her as she can detonate DoTs through the use of her Skill which does apply 2 stacks of suspicion per DoT on the enemy when used with this blessing. It’s an effective way to maximize damage very early into battle.

Honkai: Star Rail Aeon Remembrance

7Perfect Experience: Reticence

Path Of Remembrance

This blessing might be a hit or miss depending on what kind of team players are running but it never hurts to have it. When enemies are frozen, their next turn is delayed. This gives players more time to deal more damage or to heal/shield up the team. In conjunction to other Remembrance blessings, this one gives easy access to the Dissociation debuff which is another type of freeze that deals massive damage.

Freeze teams can make the most out of this blessing by perma-freezing enemies and relying on Dissociation to deal damage. Bosses typically havehigh Effect RESso it’s crucial that players hunt for other blessings that can increase Effect Hit Rate and lower the enemies freeze RES. Due to DoT teams naturally having high Effect Hit Rate, they can easily use this blessing as well.

Honkai: Star Rail Aeon Propagation

6Spore Discharge

Path Of Propagation

Spores are a type of debuff that can be applied to the enemy through various means which in the case of this blessing, it’s simply by using Skill Points. Every team can use this blessing well as every team will need to burn through Skill Points in some way to deal higher damage.

When enemies have at least 3 stacks of Spores on them, the spores will burst and spread to other enemies upon being attacked by any character and dealing extra damage to the enemy attacked. Without other buffs, the maximum number of Spores that can be applied to a single enemy is capped at 6 and deals more damage depending on the number of stacks.

Honkai: Star Rail Aeon Erudition

5SMR-2 Amygdala

Path Of Erudition

Brain in a Vat is a buff that can be obtained through Erudition blessings and it acts as a secondaryenergy sourcefor characters' ultimates. Once it reaches 100%, characters are given a free ultimate upon unleashing an ultimate. Though this blessing requires killing enemies (similar to the Hunt blessing, it loses value on higher difficulties), there are other means of charging Brain in a Vat through other Erudition blessings.

Brain in a Vat can be used by any team and is useful on any character as it either means extra damage or 100% uptime on support ultimates. It’s never a bad idea to pick up these Erudition blessings over other ones unless the other ones are more specific to the type of team players are running.

Honkai: Star Rail Aeon Abundance

4BCI-34 Gray Matter

As if it wasn’t obvious, Erudition being the only path making an appearance twice on this list is due to Brain in a Vat being so universally powerful. The only reason these 2 blessings aren’t ranked higher is simply because other ones are more specific to different team types and/or directly offer more survivability which can be a great help on higher difficulties.

Weakness breaking enemies is bound to happen more often than killing enemies on higher difficulties, making this blessing more desirable than the other one (on top of the free 65% at the start of battle).

Honkai: Star Rail Aeon Preservation

3All Abundance In One Mind

Path Of Abundance

At this point in the list, all the blessings will be related to survivability which is, as mentioned, extremely valuable on higher difficulties. This blessing is a must-have if running a healer as a solosustain uniton the team. Within that context, players can worry a little less about characters dying despite them still being able to get one shot by a boss.

The general opinion is that shields are much better for the higher difficulties as they prevent one shots, but players should also not be afraid to run double sustain (shielder and healer) so this blessing can still be great if players choose to do so.

Honkai: Star Rail Aeon Destruction

2Divine Construct: Macrosegregation

Path Of Preservation

Speaking of shields, this blessing effectively doubles the shield values characters can obtain. Since one shots are a problem, this blessing is the perfect solution to that problem. The reason for it being so good is that shields provided by characters cannot be stacked (Aventurine’s being the only exception). That basically means that without this blessing, shielders can only do so much to protect allies.

This blessing works best on team-wide shielders (Gepard and Aventurine), but players can even run an entire team of shielders with the help of other Preservation blessings that allow characters to deal more damage based on their current shield values all while not having to worry about dying.

1Regression Inequality Of Annihilation

Path Of Destruction

When playing through the higher difficulties, this blessing is a must-have if it decides to show up. No ifs ands or buts with the only exception to the rule being if players are runningFu Xuan as it works completely against her kit. It also works perfectly with the two previous blessings, making damage to shields and healing distribution easier to keep track of.

Assuming players aren’t taking too long to kill a boss, this blessing alone is more than enough to eliminate any worries of characters getting one shot. Of course, without one of the other two blessings, it can be tricky to sustain the team when everyone is taking damage at the same time so it’s best to try and get one of the other ones as well.
