In just a week,Horizonfans will finally get their hands onHorizon Zero Dawn Remastered. Unlike the original, this remaster launchessimultaneously on both PC and PlayStation 5, allowing both player bases to experience it together.
The remaster is extensive in scope, which is why it’s skipping the PlayStation 4. The visual and technical upgrades also impact the PC version, leading to highersystem requirements than the original. While the requirements are somewhat demanding, they remain manageable for most setups.

The system requirements forHorizon Zero Dawn Remasteredmay surprise some players, especially the need for 135 GB offree storage on an SSDrather than an HDD. You’ll also need 16 GB of RAM and Windows 10 64-bit (version 1909 or later). For the CPU, an Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X is required, paired with a GPU equivalent to or more powerful than a GTX 1060 6GB or RX 5500 XT 4GB.
Additionally,PSN registration is mandatoryto play the remaster. If that’s a dealbreaker, you may want to skip this one.

Unfortunately, the developers haven’t confirmed if these specsincorporate upscaling technology, nor have they specified the target FPS and resolution.
