Horizon Zero Dawn Remasteredis a game that very few people were asking for. However, with owners of the original game able toupgrade to the remastered edition for just $10, it’s become one of the most pre-ordered games on the PlayStation Store since its announcement in late September.
Naturally, a lot of the people who’ve purchased the game are now eager to learn when exactly they can start playing it. The good news is they won’t have to wait too much longer, as theHorizon Zero Dawn Remasteredrelease date and time are now mere days away.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Release Time (PS5)
Horizon Zero Dawn Remasteredwill be released on atmidnight on October 31, local time. As tends to be the case withfirst-party exclusives on the PS5, local time will be determined by the region of players' PlayStation Store accounts, meaning that those living in Australia, New Zealand, and East Asia will gain access to the game before anybody else. It’s also worth noting that the US PlayStation Store runs on Eastern time, so anyone operating on PDT will be able to start playing at 9 PM on October 30.

As of the time of writing,preloading is already live forHorizon Zero Dawn Remastered, allowing players to dive straight in when the game goes live at midnight on October 31. To do so, they’ll need a decent amount of storage space available to them, as the PS5 version of the game clocks in at a hefty93.227 GB, which is around double the size of the PS4 version of the game (46.88 GB). Givenhow much better the remastered edition ofHorizon Zero Dawnlooks and runs, though, this probably shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.
