While on the main story path ofMetaphor: Refantazio, you’ll eventually end up in the Regalith Grand Cathedral dungeonwith Hulkenberg and Strohl. A ton of monsters (Humans) will appear for the team to contend with, but one of the more annoying wild creatures is theHomo Oppo–it looks like a broken eggshell walking on two legs with boots and what appears to be a sort of duck/reptile creature inside.
If you’re trying to figure outwhat Homo Oppo is weak to inMetaphor: Refantazio, we have the answer for you right here.
Metaphor: Refantazio - What is Homo Oppo Weak to?
Homo Oppo is Weak to Strike
So, there three types of main melee-type attack types that monsters might be weak to inMetaphor: Refantazio. Those types are: Pierce, Slash, andStrike. And it just so happens thatHomo Oppo is indeed weak to Strike, and only Strike. The Human has no other weaknesses and no resistances either. This means you can dish out any type of magic attack on it, and it’ll do a good amount of damage.
Still, Homo Oppo has a large pool of HP, soswitching out to a class like the Healer Archetypeis your best bet so that you’re able to inflict extra damage and get extra turns to attack.
In our instance, we had Strohl set up with the Healer Archetype, giving him the Apprentice’s Mage weapon, which inflicts Strike when used to attack monsters.
If you want to inflict extra melee damage with the Strike weapon, make sure to put your party member in the front of the group during battle. However, normally, mages and healers should be kept in the back row to take less damage and support the team.
