Combat Strategy

How long this fight will last will depend on your party’s ability todeal sustained damage within a short amount of time. You can aim to eliminate Homo Sabara outright without addressing its tentacles, but that will leave you at the mercy of Random Strike, which multiplies its damage based on the number of tentacles still around. As much as possible, use yourelectric attackson Homo Sabara to deal high damage and gain more Turn Icons, and use Synthesis skills likeBlusterblast Maneuverto hit both the boss and its appendages.

Once its health dips beyond the halfway line, it is essential to focus all damage fromthe partyon the boss itself. This prevents it from using Soul Scream and gaining four more Turn Icons. Keep using spells like Kande or Kandera, and your strongest Synthesis attacks to eliminate it as quickly as possible.
