Players can create their own Settlers inAge of History 3and claim any unmarked land for their civilization. This is a great way to gain control of more provinces without making enemies or going to war.
This guide shows players how they can get access to the colonization technology inAge of History 3and how they must command their Settler so they’ll start claiming lands that are yet to have an owner.
How to Unlock Colonization in Age of History 3
While in some strategy games, the first thing that players must do is decide where they’d like to settle that is not the case here; colonization isn’tavailable from the get-go inAge of History 3.Players will first have to unlock the Colonial Expansion Decree technology in order to be able to settle more provinces in uncolonized territory.
To accelerate your civilization’s research speed and unlock technologies faster, gamers will want to build Libraries and pick Advisors that focus on increasing Research per month.
Once gamers have unlocked the Colonial Expansion Decree on the Technology Tree inAge of History 3, they will have to change the law in their civilization to allow colonial expansion. To change the Colonial Act law inAge of History 3, players have to select the Laws menu in the sidebar or press L, then scroll down to the Colonial Act tab and replace the No Colonization law with the Colonial Expansion Decree to revert the ban.
How to Claim Territory with a Settler in Age of History 3
After enabling colonization, players will have to add a Settler to their civilization so they can start expanding. To create a Settler inAge of History 3, players must select the Manpower icon on top of the screen, then they must click on the Settler unit, choose the province where they’d like it to spawn, and lastly click on the Create Army button. Once the Settler has been created, gamers can move it onto uncolonized land to claim it as their own.
Unfortunately, there is a bug that prevents Settlers from being able to colonize land even if gamers have researched the right technology and activated the decree. Therefore, until an update is released, players might want to avoid using Settlers as part of their strategy.
