There are more than 180 playable fighters inDragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, although most of them aren’t available right away. Thankfully, once players hit the required Player Level, all of the unlockable characters inSparking! ZEROcan be purchased from the shop using Zeni, although there are other methods for unlockingthe game’s full roster.
Most ofDragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO’s unlockable characters are tied to Episode and Bonus battles (the latter of which can be found in the Custom Battles menu), while the rest are unlocked by participating in each of the tournaments for the first time and completing Zen-Oh’s orders. It’s worth noting that unlocking the base form of a fighter will unlock all of their transformations, so unlocking Goku (GT) will provide players with his base, SSJ1, SSJ3, and SSJ4 forms, and so on.

ZERO, the following guide now includes a full list of every additional form and transformation that comes along with them. As mentioned above, though, players will only need to unlock each character’s base form to be able to use these extra variants in battle; either as transformations or as stand-alone characters.

Those hoping to purchase all 47 unlockable characters inSparking! ZEROwill need a grand total of 3,390,000 Zeni. If players later unlock a character that they’d already purchased, their Zeni will be refunded, so there’s no real reason not to buy every unlockable fighter from the shop as soon as possible.
All Unlockable Alt Forms and Transformations in Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO
As mentioned above, those hoping to unlock all of the characters inDragon Ball: Sparking! ZEROwill only need to unlock their base forms, as doing so will also allow players to use all of their subsequent forms and transformations as well. As such, by unlocking the 47 characters listed above, players are actually gaining access to 71 newSparking Zerocharacters.
